Hyundai Genesi go flying off transport truck in South Korea {Autoblog}
Mar 25th 2008 4:16PM A Volvo is nothing more than a overpriced Taurus. You think your driving around in luxury and youre really piloting a swedish crapbox. At least Hyundai's are reliable and the parts are reasonably priced.
Ford owns Volvo? There's something to flaunt! lol

Mar 25th 2008 4:06PM The cop driving this better have a rack with generous amounts of cleavageon display.
I guess it also could be a guy in short shorts like on Reno 911.

Mar 25th 2008 4:03PM How is it that so many 'smart' people here can dismiss this offering and continue to be so enamored and brainwashed with the shallowness of brand marketing by the 'established luxury brand'.
So many have become so carnal and pawns of the billions spent to lure them.
You can find me in my skeptic tank.

Tuner's Delight: Photochopping the Hyundai Genesis Coupe {Autoblog}
Mar 24th 2008 10:17AM Is a Nissan or any other more established nameplate buyer tangibly or intangibly more or less shallow than a Hyundai buyer.
I thought so.
Some of you people are more shallow than the brand names you buy to vault your superficial and temporal lives cluttered with everything temporal and nothing eternal.
"I own a BMW and I'm better than you because you own a Hyundai'
Sad.

Consumer Reports names Top Picks for 2008 {Autoblog}
Feb 28th 2008 10:32PM We have a 2002 Elantra with 148,000 that runs perfect and was every bit as reliable as our Civic. In fact, we traded the 03Civic 108,000(miles) as it needed too much work on it that the Elantra didn't need.
You can't tell me the Civic was more reliable..it wasn't.

Feb 28th 2008 3:43PM We bought an 07 Veracruz and Elantra. Perfect after 68,000 miles. We
traded a Civic and a Pathfinder. Hyundai's are hard to beat and we
are impressed in every way.
Joe K, your comments that Hyundai's are crap borders on delusional.
AOL Straw Poll: Feb. 4-11 {Political Machine Blog}
Feb 8th 2008 6:46PM Hillary? You're kidding, right?!!! There is noone more polarizing and will bring out division any more than Bill's wife. Whether or not she is qualified and can do the job is not the issue...and I question her left-wing wacko leanings to even do the job. Don't even bring up the Clinton's or Bush's...WE'VE HAD ENOUGH OF DYNASTIES and need change. Since that will be impossible (change), I guess I'll vote McCain. He is at least sensible and not wayyyyy out in left or right field like the other candidates.
Chicago 2008: Acura reveals 2009 RL with more style, more power, more... {Autoblog}
Feb 6th 2008 12:49PM If I am a luxury buyer and I am considering the RL segement I have to ask Acura:
-Why no V8?! Non-Luxury Hyundai will put a 375hp V8 under my ass for a bit over $35k(with incentives) and you are still pushing a 300hp V6. Hyundai's second offering the 3.8 V6 gives the same output for $30k. And don't tell me it's just as strong and gets better fuel mileage as a V8. I am droppin' $50k, I make a good living and don't care that the V6 gets 2mpg better. We're talking $150 year difference. Irrelevant.
-Market this however you want but I'm having a hard time droppin' $50 large on when the CTS is so distinct and doesn't hint at any other GM car like the RL hints at a Honda Accord.
-And yeah I am wondering if this is the Accord platform with some tweaks and a $20k premium price tag. Take the chrome off the ass-end and you have an Accord.
The Accord with a 6-speed stick and loaded is more appealing for $30k or even the Hyundai V8 which gives me every goodie, minus the awd, but adaptive cruise, adaptive headlamps, rear back up cam, 17 speaker Lexicon sound system, heated and cooled seats and a 375 V8 with manual mode and automatic.
This RL is a tough sell just like always.
