Jan 31st 2008 3:54PM I don't think it's ugly, but it's drivetrain sucks. It's about as fast, and about as efficient, as the challengers that are almost 40 years old now. Where's the progress? They should have kept the retro look, but thrown in a boosted 4 cylinder or boosted 6 cylinder for the SRT version, and made it AWD. Imagine Challenger Rally Cars. Musclecars for a NEW generation. Handling. Braking. Acceleration. And economy, if you stay off the go pedal. The fact that it gets 12-17mpg is just lame. Also, I have a feeling that an STi will beat this car in every performance category.

Jan 31st 2008 3:52PM I liked the marker light up higher better. It looked more retro, like the old ones. It looks kinda funky down low, since nothing else on the body is at that height.

Jan 31st 2008 1:46PM Oldsmobile didn't have anything that could compete with Chrysler. Chrysler's engines were top notch back in the day, which is why drag cars from Ford and Chevy used Chrysler Hemi based engines. Don't kid yourself. Chrysler was nuts enough to build things like the Hemi Dart or Hemi Cuda, with aluminium body panels and shipped in primer. They were the ballsiest company during the musclecar years. High impact paint. Shaker hoods. Air Grabber Scoops. Road runner horns. Huge decals. Strobe stripes. They were just awesome.
