Official EPA numbers posted for the '09 Jetta TDI - 30/41mpg {Autoblog}

May 21st 2008 10:14AM Wasn't VW promising something around 60mpg highway for this thing? These numbers are not going to help the cause to get more diesels on the road.

This has gotta be a huge blow to VW. Not only is diesel way more expensive right now, but you pay a significant premium to get the diesel engine in the first place. There is no way that 40mpg highway is gonna offset the cost of fuel and MSRP.

Spy Shots: Production Audi TT Clubsport Quattro {Autoblog}

May 15th 2008 1:00PM A chick car? You've gotta be kidding me. That hunkered down stance with the flares and rollbars looks all business to me. I think it looks great.

VIDEO: Cadillac CTS-V takes to the 'Ring, pummels into submission {Autoblog}

May 14th 2008 9:20PM The low end on the audio is crazy. The sub is shaking the walls. Definitely a good watch. GM is rightfully proud of this car. It appears to be setting a new standard for performance sedans.

APS builds 557 hp twin-turbo setup for Pontiac G8 GT {Autoblog}

May 12th 2008 4:23PM For what its worth, its the cold side of the turbo that is closest to the filter. The turbine housing is sufficiently far away to prevent any heat related problems.

Sprint dropped 1.09 million subscribers in Q1 {Engadget}

May 12th 2008 1:18PM We have been on Sprint SERO for two years now. Its been a good plan for us. Our customer service experience has ranged from great to irritating. I think Sprint is faultering because of CS and their ongoing problems with phone selection. More and more phones are becoming lifestyle/fashion devices and Sprint has not figured that out yet. People care more about the device and less about the service (form over function.) The instinct is a step in the right direction, but one phone isn't going to turn sprint around. They need a total revamp of their lineup to include more fashion phones and less workhorse models.

Poulsen Hybrid car conversion kit takes aim at X-Prize, your wallet {Engadget}

May 8th 2008 4:10PM This system wins purely on simplicity and cost. It may not provide the best results, but the fact that it can be adapted to almost any car on the road and is within the budget of many drivers makes it the most viable xprize option I've seen so far....and that is what the competition is really about.

If this system can get you 15-20% better fuel economy around town, it might be worth a shot.

Vanishing Point Challenger meets tire wall at Road America {Autoblog}

May 3rd 2008 9:08PM I am sure this is a result of getting the car getting rushed to be ready for the event. No one had seat time in it and no one had a chance to sort the car out. Its a shame, it was a really nice looking car.

I think these guys managed to crash one before the NHTSA has. At least we got that out of the way.

VIDEO: Dodge Challenger gets its drift on {Autoblog}

Apr 11th 2008 7:51PM Only the car in this video seems to be lacking a limited slip differential. Peg Leg burnouts FTL.

Segway has an epiphany, introduces RMP hyperdirectional transporter {Engadget}

Apr 8th 2008 5:52PM there is already a forklift using this technology. Its not groundbreaking.

Recall Watch: Wiring bug affects 181,000 Chrysler Sebrings and Dodge Avengers {Autoblog}

Apr 4th 2008 7:04PM Corrosion on connectors of a 2008 vehicle? I wonder what problems will come up after a couple midwest winters.
