It's sad that we need laws like this to be implemented because the general public is too ignorant to realize the harm they are causing on others, like their own children! Heck, if society was responsible and unselfish would we have speed limits, littering fines, or other laws that help to keep us in check?
For all those who grew up saying, "my parents smoked in the car and I turned out fine", there are probably millions of other cases of kids who either grew up with respiratory problems, developed other health issues in their adult life, or became smokers themselves because mommy and daddy smoked. This is purely a PREVENTABLE safety measure. If smoking was safe do you think this would be a topic at all? Smokers, go ahead and smoke yourselves to death, just don't take our world's future with you.

Apr 25th 2008 1:18PM Not to burst Chevy's bubble, but wasn't the Ford GT the first production vehicle from the US (out of the big three anyway) to post a top speed over the 200mph mark? I could be wrong, so someone please feel free to correct me. Though, I'm sure the ZR1 hits that speed a lot quicker then the GT.

Feb 18th 2008 12:48PM I don't think he should be at fault. The smoke was caused by illegal activity, and the spectators were participating in an illegal activity. It's sad that they lost their lives, but these people put themselves in danger as soon as they crowded a public road that law-abiding citizens use. I used to watch illegal street races years ago and I remember lines of people standing in the opposite lane, blocking opposing traffic because they wanted to get a better view of the races.
