Honda discovers 3.5L V6 more powerful than first thought {Autoblog}
Aug 13th 2008 7:12PM the two Honda I had never had any problem with the auto transmission, and they are both at 130k now.
There are some issues with Honda's auto tran, but no where near what you described. Only a small friction of their cars is affected. Sometimes people make a big fuss about things they are not sure, like saying hybrid battery dies right after warrant, only to find out 0.03% of Honda and Toyota’s hybrid car need to have their battery replaced so far.

torque without rev = tractor, and this is from someone who have driven a tractor.
Many people misunderstand how torque and HP works. a popular misunderstanding (sounds like you fall in this category) is Torque = acceleration, HP= top speed. Wrong! HP is everything, and whether you want to use that HP for acceleration or for top speed depends only on your gear setting.
Engine, in a nut shell, can be viewed like a worker. Torque at certain engine speed is similar to this worker’s efficiency at that engine speed. Engine rev itself can be viewed as working time. A diesel engine is like a very efficient worker that can only work 4 hours a day, while a gas engine is like a not so efficient worker that can work 8 hours a day. The productivity (HP) on a given day, however, depends on the efficiency and total working time. Which is why a higher hp car can also out accelerate a lower hp car (given the same car weight). I have never driven a 335D, but there is no way for a 335D to out accelerate a regular 335 in any given speed.

Jul 19th 2008 2:45PM love how uninformed you guys are.
China as a NATION used less fuel than California as a STATE in year 2007 (and maybe 2008). yet you guys keep thinking China is the reason for gas to rise from 2 dollar to 4.
fox news is very misleading, get some facts please.
Spy Shots: Honda NSX interior caught at the 'Ring {Autoblog}
Jul 16th 2008 6:14PM i hate that you cannot edit your own post.
i meant
i saw 10k RPM on the meter~ sweet. a 5.5L V10 that can rev up to 10K rpm is a great engineering achievement. but again, i expect nothing less from Honda.

2009 Acura TL shows its face, AWD confirmed {Autoblog}
Jul 11th 2008 1:56AM as a current 2008 TL-S owner. I have to say i love the design. TL is about looking sharp, to have straight line combined with nice curves. The current TL has that element, and as far as i can tell, the next gen TL evolved upon that design philosophy and take it to the next level.
there are few things i am quite disappointed about this car: it looks like a over sized TSX (same as the last gen). there isn't enough to differentiate those two cars (again, i have no yet see the rear picture of the new TL). front lower vent looks too much like CTS, which is a very busy design and contradict with the overall design philosophy.
i also see some GS/Camry on the rear part of the car. but i reserve my opinion before i see a rear picture of the car.

anyone who would rather drive will not choose a 7, at least for the driving part. save that for M class or 335.
Officially Official: 2009 BMW 7 Series {Autoblog}
Jul 5th 2008 5:14AM * World's first Night Vision system with individual pedestrian recognition (check)
* World's first production car with front side view camera (??? Lexus LX had the front view camera for a while, and Infiniti EX35 surround view camera is still the best IMO)
* First BMW Saloon with speed-related Integral Active Steering (check, but active steering is really nothing new)
* First BMW with Lane Change Warning (check. aren't it a bit late? a infiniti M, Lexus LS had them for at least 2 years, and cheaper cars like infinit EX, Buick ,Cadillac have had them too.)
* BMW 7 Series to feature EfficientDynamics for class-leading CO2 emissions and fuel consumption (i don't about that. not trying to start a BMW Lexus war, but LS 460 and 600H are for sure cleaner (as in emission) than the 7)
bottom line: the new BMW 7 didn't bring ANYTHING new, there is no MUST have, or MUST go to factor except the badge.

in the recent earthquake, a lot of Tibetan-Chinese are killed and their home a badly damaged. (you probably don't even know where the Tibet is and where did the earthquake take place). there are more than 3 billion RMB donated by other chinese. the government is trying its best to save the people. so what did
Lancia Delta say? Nothing, what did he do? Nothing.
furthemore, Lancia Delta's group was celebrating the devastating earthquake, calling it Karma and forget who suffered the most from the earthquake---their own people.
