Jan 30th 2008 12:40PM DSLR at a social event = people nagging you afterwards to upload it, and with very high expectations in terms of photography.
Cant wait to try the DP1 so sometimes i could just have fun and STILL have a camera with usable ISO1600

Jan 25th 2008 10:35AM hmm.. last thing chrysler needs to do is roll out another terrible interior.

Jeep Compass, Patriot getting freshened interiors {Autoblog}
Jan 21st 2008 12:06PM curled edges are used when manufacturers don't have the tolerances to pull off tight seams.
prime example: GM... the interiors on a lot of their cars still have that inflated, rounded off fisher price look..
Jeep Compass, Patriot getting freshened interiors {Autoblog}
Jan 21st 2008 11:42AM Almost bought the 2007 patriot, I'd say it's the best looking small ute. Exterior fit is pretty tight.
The deal breaker was definitely the interior quality, and the mess of tape and sloppy hoses and cheap fittings under the hood.
In my OPINION: the GEMA engine gives me a sketchy feeling about reliability (joint venture between chrysler, hyundai, mitsubishi... none of them are really synonymous with 'great reliable engines') think about those group projects we all had in highschool, it's easy for the partners to slip and lose sense of responsibility. it would be one thing if it were the group of the A+ kids, but this is the group of (D+'s to B's)
anyways... back to the patriot..
during the test drive, the CVT didn't feel right, the power mirrors didn't work, the remote locks didn't work. Didn't promote much conficence..
My previous vehicle being a 95 Honda Odyssey, seemed like a major downgrade in overall quality.
CDMA provider contemplating move to GSM: The Telus edition {Engadget}
Jan 16th 2008 12:21PM As long as the rates don't increase, i'm all for it.
The reason why I sacrificed the infinite hardware choice with Rogers for less desirable hardware choices with Telus; is because the rate plans at Telus were much better for my needs.

Jan 16th 2008 9:24AM doesn't look nearly as good as the first gen xB. I think they shouldn't have broken it up at the B-pillar.
But that's just me.
I have always been a fan of the lunchbox on wheels look since first I laid eyes on a chevy astro in my childhood.
I like how a lot of people don't like the style because it goes against their beliefs that all cars must be sleek, curvy, and sporty. ie: boxy cars seem to be taboo, and i think taboo's are hot ;)
