Let there be technology: What's under Hyundai's new Genesis sedan {Autoblog}

Jun 17th 2008 2:38PM I actually got a chance to drive one with the V8, and I have to admit, I'm pretty impressed. It was comfortable, quiet, and quick, and bore no resemblance to an '88 Excel. It doesn't look that big in person, and has kind of a g37 look from the rear. The grille is kind of ugly, but that shouldn't be too hard to remedy. They told me $42K loaded, which seems fair, considering all you get. I think they might sell a few, if luxury buyers can get over that "H". Maybe they should offer a badge delete as a no cost option.

Nissan presentation previews RWD sports coupe {Autoblog}

Jun 7th 2008 4:47PM Since square seems to be in right now (Xb, Cube, Element), why not a new 510? Rwd, small displacement turbo 4 (turbodiesel option!?), IRS, and updated 510 styling cues. A properly modified old dime is an absolute blast to drive. If they kept it simple and relatively light, I'd definitely be interested. Of course, I might just be a car geek.

May 30th 2008 1:35PM It's a diesel. At least $5.30 around here, last time I checked, and climbing fast. You can make the older ones run used veggie oil, but I think the 6.4 might be a little more picky.
Cool if you need to haul stuff, but I predict that most of these will stay shiny. Hey, we've got plenty of oil left, right?

Ferrari California in crazy colors, plus more official detail shots {Autoblog}

May 21st 2008 4:52PM I've always been a big fan of Ferraris that are not red or yellow. The green one is just obnoxious. I kind of hate myself for liking it, but I do.

Apr 23rd 2008 2:43PM Definitely, not a stylistic improvement on the first one, but I'm intrigued by the fart-sucking technology...

Jan 19th 2008 9:35PM I would have stripped it, sold the extra parts on ebay for $53,500, and entered it in the next LeMons.

Jan 18th 2008 2:40PM I would argue that the best Lumina ever made is the RWD Lumina (Monaro) currently on sale in the middle east.
