Jun 7th 2008 7:46PM The problem behind all of this is that BBC still fails to realize that Top Gear, whether they intended it or not, has become an international show. The fact of the matter is that watching middle aged British men race around in supercars, drive to the north pole, and try to survive the African desert is fun no matter where you're from, even if they habitually bash your homeland on occasion. The sooner they realize this the better.

My Father drives 120 miles a day in his 4 Cylinder 2006 TDI and he gets a sustained 56MPG highway, 45 to 50MPG city and he only fills up once a week. Driving like a granny at a steady 55mph with no lane changes we've gotten it up to 65-67MPG.
Don't believe the bogus ratings, they have to be low in order to stimulate hybrid sales since they are still less efficient than Diesel.

Dec 15th 2007 12:53AM I still prefer the idea of the CCX as the new KITT. The Mustang has way too much personality/history of its own and distracts from KITT as a character of the show. Whereas the CCX like the original Trans Am has a minimalist, smooth design, that fades into the background of KITT's character, a platform capable of executing the demands of its kick-ass software. Quickly, efficiently, and stealthily, nothing more.
That's what the real KITT is all about.
