NSFW VIDEO: How NOT to get out of a speeding ticket {Autoblog}

Apr 4th 2008 9:56AM I fault you for your lack of touch with reality. You feel the need to make multiple posts about how terrible the pilot as though the original was any better (it wasn't). It's snobby, elitism and it's destroying the automotive journalism field. Trying to read C&D is like listening to my Dad talk about prudent investing. Spend some time on a forum with real owners and give me some real insight. I already know all the rumors -- I don't need you to reiterate them.

Apr 3rd 2008 11:41PM This is an all new low for Autoblog. This post is literally 16 years late. Al Gore had barely finished inventing the Internet then which only adds to the irony.

And besides, don't you have another post to make about how bad the new Knight Rider series is going to be?

NBC greenlights Knight Rider weekly series {Autoblog}

Apr 1st 2008 12:47AM Finally, someone says it! Would everyone please shut their snobby faces about how bad the pilot was. Have you ever seen even a single episode of the original. It was awful by all measures. There was repetitive plots, lack of consistency in KITT's technical capabilities, rampant overacting, and so much more. The reason we're ALL talking about this show is because when we were kids, we said "who cares" and just enjoyed a show that piqued our imaginations about cars.

The aging hipsters at Engadget are really starting to remind me of C&D. Their recent criticisms of the BMW 135i said "why get a 135 when you can step up and get a 328 for a very small amount more". I'm just taking a stab in the dark, but maybe it has something to do with the fact that the 1 handles better, weights less, and has 70 more horsepower. It should be called Car & Family Man with Kids.

Knight Rider isn't supposed to be some epic technological documentary. It's meant to be watched and enjoyed for what it is. An awesome car doing some things only relegated to our fantasies. If you are too old to get that then shut up.

The jailbreaking process was already about as easy as you can possibly get. You literally went to a website on your iPhone and hit OK. That was it.

NVIDIA drivers responsible for nearly 30% of Vista crashes in 2007 {Engadget}

I'm glad to see someone is the voice of reason. If people have nothing better to do than to badmouth an operating system they are giant losers. If it doesn't work for you, then don't use it. People who adopted early on and expected things to work perfectly are out of their minds. I have had no issues and find it to be an overall much better experience than XP (not 100% perfect, but nothing in life is).

Others have said it, but it bears repeating. Whoever wrote this article is obviously a biased fanboi. Maybe instead of jumping on the bandwagon and taking a jab at Vista commenting on Bill Gates signing some petition to save XP why don't you stop for 14 seconds and realize that nVidia has a HUGE customer base and are most likely to see the most problems. You are misleading people in propagating this report without putting a disclaimer that states this.

Mar 26th 2008 3:42PM I love how you're calling this guy is a "buster" yet he completely fooled you, a purported journalist, as to the real truth. What exactly does that make you?

PWNED: Kid tries to pass off CLS 55 AMG as his own, gets caught {Autoblog}

Mar 26th 2008 10:10AM Exactly. This happens all the time. There was one awhile back about a guy trying to claim he owned a 600hp Supra which was much better for so many various reasons.

And that lolcat isn't funny at all.

C&D tests GT-R, runs 11.5-second quarter {Autoblog}

Mar 24th 2008 6:50PM I will be amazed if this car isn't refreshed almost every single year. It's not going to ever be sticker because of that. It may not be $100k (that was a guess), but it's not going to be anywhere near $70k.

And perhaps I should be more clear about the interior. If we're talking about cars only (so no Hummers) then I honestly believe it is one of the tackiest, terribly laid out interiors period. And I'm not trying to compare it directly to 20 year old cars. I'm just saying that if you score cars based on the other cars that are out at the time then I think the GT-R is sub-standard. You guys are all looking at press photos that make everything look all shiny and glossy. Look at real pictures of it and it looks like a Neon with tons of extra dials and buttons.

Mar 24th 2008 12:02PM The difference is that this car will never sell for sticker, ever. You can wait 30 years and it won't sell for sticker. This isn't just a "first on your block tax". This is a "buy it" tax. If anyone ever gets one of these things for under $100k it is a miracle. A great car for sure, but $70k it is not.

And if this car deserves tons of praise for doing what it can do on the track it should be ridiculed mercilessly for the tragedy that is the interior. It is the ugliest looking thing I have seen in any car for the last 20 years. It isn't just some minor blemish that people exaggerate because they're jealous. It is a complete joke. Comparing it with a Ferrari 599 is like comparing a supermodel with your mom.

Porsche 911 Turbo, Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and U.S. spec. Nissan GT-R hit the racetrack {Autoblog}

Mar 20th 2008 8:17PM I cannot understand people on the Internet. 99% of the people wasting their time making comments can't afford any of these cars. Yet, in true fanboi fashion everyone picks a side and start arguing about a topic that is completely irrelevant. Then every time a new piece of information arrives the pointless debates start again. And the best part of all is that when there is no one arguing people will simply stand on the hilltops and proclaim their greatness beckoning for any semblance of dissent so that they may be deemed "pwned". This is by far the stupidest thing that man has ever taken part of.

The GT-R is a car. In my opinion it has the ugliest interior of any car within the past 20 years. Many will disagree and drop tens of thousands of dollars on it. Others will say "I'm never going to be on a track so I'll get the Porsche". This is how life works. People have different opinions. The idea that people can't reconcile that in their heads is depressing. The Vette and the Porsche are both fine cars that do what they do in their own way. The GT-R is no different and just because it goes around a circle doesn't make it the best car for everyone.

I hope that maybe one day you'll understand that life isn't a giant Internet argument. Until then you, my trolling friend, are a complete douchebag.
