Apr 28th 2008 10:23AM Rattles galore? Really? Have you ever been in a high mileage Subaru built in the last 10 years? I have a 2000 Legacy GT with 190,000 miles and it doesn't have a single squeak or rattle. My friends and family are always amazed at how well it has held up compared to much more expensive cars.
Now, my wife's 2000 Odyssey with 129,000 miles on the other hand...

Good point - my wife is an Interior Designer for an architectural firm and I can tell you that reducing energy consumption is definitely a priority in commercial construction. What really irks me is that no one is jumping up and down and shouting at the homebuilders and to reduce the amount of energy required to heat and cool our homes. I'd much rather live in an energy efficient home than drive an energy efficient car :)

Feb 27th 2008 10:32AM The guy that runs that blog is in Canada where the prices are much different. Here in the US the Impreza's starting price of $16,995 is very favorable in comparision to it's competition (namely the Civic and Mazda3).

Nov 20th 2007 3:59PM Subaru's have the same underfloor storage feature. Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the new Highlander until I saw it in person - it's not as ugly in the flesh. On the flip side I think my '08 Tribeca looks way better.
