Nov 12th 2007 2:56PM The mileage claims in the article are wrong. I borrowed a friends 2008 Ext and got 14 around town and even more amazingly got 19 fully loaded with a bed full of heavy furniture and a roof top carrier on the highway. This was a 518 mi trip. The six speed trans is much more efficent than the 4 speed in the Tahoe and Yukon. With this said I think the Hybrid will only get slightly less milage then its cousins.
