Spy Shots: Dodge JC49 Crossover {Autoblog}

May 17th 2007 12:54PM It's just great when the Autoblog journalists not only have incorrect information, but also make judgement calls on subjective issues.

The ultimate in professionalism.

CarFax begins offering airbag deployment info for free {Autoblog}

May 7th 2007 8:26PM Carfax is a sham for fools. They were founded by the same company that practically owns the used car market, auctioning millions of used cars per week. They create the used car market, fabricate fears about the market, and then, conveniently, offer ways to avert the fears that they created--all the while profiting from all aspects.

Buy Yellow, GO GO Green for SAAB? {Autoblog Green}

May 3rd 2007 10:45AM yeah, that stereotype is totally bogus--and just plain stupid. Also, cut out the SAAB crap. It's Saab. It is no longer Svenska Aeroplan AB.

Spy Photos: New Saab 9-3 without camo {Autoblog}

Apr 22nd 2007 10:03PM The Saab 900 was NEVER related in any way to a GM car--not the Sunfire, not the Cavalier. Ever!

The current-gen 9-3 shares, essentially, a set of axles with the Cobalt. They perform differently in handling, crash tests, ride quality. They do not share engine components, suspensions, any drivetrain, or safety technology.

I repeat, specifically to fabsgwu and his brethren morons:

NO SAAB IS RELATED TO THE CAVALIER OR SUNFIRE!

Spy Photos: New Saab 9-3 without camo {Autoblog}

Apr 22nd 2007 11:32AM Saab is slow to the market with some things because they are such a small car company. GM has less influence on them then we think. I would say that Saab did cheap out on materials during 04 and 05 model years, and that the current generation 9-3 is a terribly unreliable car, but all the vehicles drive and handle superbly. According to IIHS's real-world crash data compilation, the saab 9-5 is the safest midsize car, and the 9-3 is the second safest. The 9-5's numbers are the same as 7-series, meaning that the number of injuries per collision are similar. The 9-5 has been recommended as reliable, even by consumer reports.

I think that the cars drive very well, especially for front-wheel-drives. Comparisons to Audis are null, because an Audi is significantly more expensive new (Audi typically gives no incentives or rebates), thousands more used, and are available in all-wheel-drive.

In a car market where Lexus, a bland company making a bland car sold to bland nouveau riche yuppies, is the luxury segment leader, I can see why something different would bother you all.
