Happy National Cheese Pizza Day! {Slashfood}

Sep 5th 2007 11:36AM I always judge a new pizza joint by their cheese pizza. If they cannot get the fundamentals of pizza down to my liking there is no reason for me to try their 'specialties'. I have heard that some food critics use a similar technique.

FYI - Pizza hut definitely fails this test, *bleah*.

Vintage Recipe: Velveeta Nutburgers {Slashfood}

Aug 20th 2007 11:03AM "Velveeta Nutburgers", wow, with a name like that it makes me just want to whip these right up :-/

Happy National Filet Mignon Day! {Slashfood}

Aug 13th 2007 3:02PM Now I wonder why would it be *national Filet Mignon* day, and not national *Tenderloin Steak* day. Seeing how Filet Mignon is a french term and this is supposed to be a *national* day....

Of course you didn't say what nation, and I could just be perpetuating the stereotypical 'it's all about me' American image ;-)

Food Porn: Watermelon Steak {Slashfood}

Aug 10th 2007 10:06AM kinda looks like a tuna steak.

Happy National Tequila Day! {Slashfood}

Jul 24th 2007 10:25PM Bleh. I like liquor, but I think tequila tastes like gasoline...don't ask.

Hitch iPod2iPod USB Transfer Device {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Food and Relationships: Dining in or out? {Slashfood}

Feb 13th 2007 12:46PM An additonal downside for doing it at home is there is a chance that you may mess up something in the prep (I said you, not me ;-) ), like was that 1/4 tsp cream of tarter or 1/4 Tbs. Then since you don't have a full service kitchen, it's pizza on valentines day.

But I still vote the dine in 100% of the time, just there is always that caveat.

Feb 12th 2007 3:27PM Why will the opener only do doors manufactured prior to 2003?

Welcome to Brooklyn -- now turn off that iPod {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

iChatUSBCam hits version 2.2 {The Unofficial Apple Weblog (TUAW)}

Jan 30th 2007 3:36PM @kjh
Maccam is just the driver, you still need iChatUSBCam to use the webcam with iChat.

From the maccam page...
"The component is that actual driver that allows other applications to access the video-stream. (note: iChat does not recognize USB webcams unless you install iChatUSBCam - this is shareware unrelated to macam)"
