2009 Suzuki SX4 getting nav system as standard equipment {Autoblog}

Apr 27th 2008 12:11AM cameron,

Have you checked Mini's sales figures recently? Recent, as in, like the past 3 years? Good luck trying to buy a new one for less than MSRP.

What really makes a Subaru a Subaru? Love? {Autoblog}

Apr 26th 2008 1:59AM mk,

You could make a Yugo sporty if you put enough money into it. Doesn't make it a sporty car..

Apr 26th 2008 1:56AM What they need to do is start making better looking cars :)

Shallow, I know, but most of us are.

Apr 26th 2008 1:54AM Are they sound mechanically? Yes. Are they a great value? Yes. Are they safe? Yes. Are they quick? Yes.

... but most Subarus are still butt ugly (mediocre at best) and the interiors are sourced from Fisher Price. Rattles galore and material quality, build finish, etc. are lackluster.

You might be able to beat a Bimmer in a drag, but he's still driving a Bimmer. He's driving in luxury in a car that has perfect 50/50 weight distribution, a smooth I6 and handles like a dream. If it was all about HP/0-60-to-dollars value, we'd all be driving Dodge Neon SRTs

To offer such great engines, chassis, and AWD system at the price points they do, you have to cut some corners (and they're some pretty big ones).

Gas buyers favor brand, not price {Autoblog}

Apr 23rd 2008 12:05AM Sorry but your plan is retarded. Your heart is in the right place and it's admirable that you're trying to "stick it to the man" but do something that'll actually work.

It's actually simple economics - by not purchasing from Mobil and Shell, you'll be purchasing gas from other companies which in turn increases their demand. When they see that there's additional demand for their gas, who do you think they turn to for more supply?

Should your "plan" work and millions stop buying from Mobil and Shell, what's to stop these smaller gas stations from raising their prices? It's called capitalism. Welcome to America

It has a nice personality: Ford boosts Focus production by 30% to meet demand {Autoblog}

Apr 15th 2008 4:12PM Obviously, you're not in the market because you are blind and therefor unable to obtain a drivers license.

What's an "SAV" cost? BMW X6 starts at $53,275 {Autoblog}

Apr 11th 2008 2:44AM +1 my friend. I love how Autobloggers tend to gang up against luxury marquees to try and somehow justify that they are "smarter" for driving their Focus or Corolla. Whatever helps them sleep at night, I guess.

The (generally) negative attitude towards BMW, Mercedes and Audi on this website is astonishing. Please reserve your judgement until you can either 1.) afford it, and therefor is in the car's target demographic or 2.) you've seen, and test driven the car in real life.

Spy Shots: Aston Martin Rapide spotted with glass roof {Autoblog}

Apr 7th 2008 2:46AM Uh, I'm pretty sure if you own an Aston Martin, your house probably has a garage.

You sure find alot of things like this to nitpik on for luxury brands (Audi, BMW, Aston) yet have nothing bad to say about Hondas.

First Drive: 2009 Audi A4 on the Autobahn and in Ibiza {Autoblog}

Apr 6th 2008 11:33PM Awww, sounds like someone's bitter at not being able to afford an Audi.

Audi says it will define the "new luxury" {Autoblog}

Jan 27th 2008 11:59AM Where have you been the last few years? Mercedes? Really?

They've started to shape up a little bit with the new C-class but so has Audi (across their entire model lineup). The B6 chassis models suffered from alot of problems but starting the newer models all fare pretty well.

Don't even get started with BMW and their well-documented transmission issues and oil pumps (for their new TT engines)

German cars should be bought for their engineering, handling and looks... don't buy them if reliability is your primary concern.
