Blurry images of Infiniti 1-series fighter surface {Autoblog}

May 7th 2008 9:18PM At first I liked the 1-Series, but now I can't get over the 'sow's belly' look from the side; Robert Cumberford (Automobile mag) is usually right on the money, in terms of design analysis.

Ford holds Taurus SHO focus group in Chicago... what does it mean??? {Autoblog}

May 7th 2008 2:05PM If you put racing stripes on a blimp, it won't turn out looking like a Ferrari. The fundamental design of the new Taurus 500 is too far from sporting to work.

Hyundai aiming to lose weight, increase efficiency by 2015 {Autoblog}

May 5th 2008 11:19AM Adding lightness sounds easy enough, but that will involve expensive materials (such as aluminum), which invariably adds to the cost of the car...which most consumers are quick to complain about. However, if all manufacturers move in this direction, in the same time frame, at least the increased price should be felt across the board. There are no easy solutions to this problem. Also, weight has increased with the number of safety systems in demand by the public &/or gov't regulations.

Nissan 360: the Elgrand {Autoblog}

Apr 29th 2008 7:20PM Hasn't the stigma for the word "Van" finally faded? Why do they insist on calling them mini when they're getting bigger with each subsequent offering? It's the same with "wagon" and "SUV" (SAV? CUV? Crossover? P.R. spin to throw off our scent). This Nissan is a V-A-N.
Sorry, rant over.

Press: Chrysler to cut its SUV offerings in half {Autoblog}

Mar 24th 2008 11:04AM Compass, Aspen, Commander, Journey...why is it that Chrysler is always answering questions that no one is asking? Maybe they need some windows in their building, to see what's going on in the outside world/market?

C&D tests GT-R, runs 11.5-second quarter {Autoblog}

Mar 24th 2008 10:56AM Oh yeah? If I completely disregard safety and all-season functionality, strapping myself to a rocket is faster than the GT-R! (Let's stop using the 'my motorcycle is faster' defense - this is a completely different animal - and most people who care about keeping their flesh off the asphalt would agree)

New York 2008: Top debuts of the show (w/ Poll) {Autoblog}

Mar 23rd 2008 6:51PM I've always liked the Solstice/Sky for exterior design, but you don't have room for a pack of lifesavers in it...can't U.S. designers reverse-engineer a Miata for freaks' sakes? Take a look at the space in that trunk - two golf bags versus one bag of groceries in the Solstice? I don't get it.

New York 2008: The Mitsubishi i is A-OKei {Autoblog}

Mar 22nd 2008 4:02PM Praise Xenu! A set of comments that doesn't include the requisite "They're trying to rip-off a smart car!" comment. Shhhh...maybe the red-necks won't notice this story and will go back to 'F350-luvers.com'

I love this car...I hope we see it in Canada, too, which is likely since the smaller eurasian cars are popular here.
