May 5th 2008 11:19AM Adding lightness sounds easy enough, but that will involve expensive materials (such as aluminum), which invariably adds to the cost of the car...which most consumers are quick to complain about. However, if all manufacturers move in this direction, in the same time frame, at least the increased price should be felt across the board. There are no easy solutions to this problem. Also, weight has increased with the number of safety systems in demand by the public &/or gov't regulations.

Apr 29th 2008 7:20PM Hasn't the stigma for the word "Van" finally faded? Why do they insist on calling them mini when they're getting bigger with each subsequent offering? It's the same with "wagon" and "SUV" (SAV? CUV? Crossover? P.R. spin to throw off our scent). This Nissan is a V-A-N.

Mar 23rd 2008 6:51PM I've always liked the Solstice/Sky for exterior design, but you don't have room for a pack of lifesavers in it...can't U.S. designers reverse-engineer a Miata for freaks' sakes? Take a look at the space in that trunk - two golf bags versus one bag of groceries in the Solstice? I don't get it.
