VIDEO: Another Pontiac G8 ad that goes after our childhood {Autoblog}

May 16th 2008 7:45PM I know a lot of people have said that the styling is kind of meh and the other variants sold in different markets have a better front fascia, but honestly I love the way this thing looks. And I really do like the pontiac version front grille and fascia better then any of the other market models. Anyways, I love this car and I hope Pontiacs marketing strategy for this works, so I can look at them more often. And hopefully pick one up for not too much on the used market.

Jensen Interceptor returns with LS2 V8 {Autoblog}

May 16th 2008 5:51PM Still VERY awesome.

JDM Goodness: Subaru Legacy STI S402 {Autoblog}

May 15th 2008 10:24PM STi never shows the US any love. Didn't they make a STi Forester edition? From what I recall that was badass too.

Noble teases twin-turbo V8-powered M600 {Autoblog}

May 15th 2008 3:44PM I think I'm starting to see the paint scheme for my next car. Resurrection of the old razzle dazzle paint schemes from the world wars. Seriously though, other then looking trippy what do these manufacturers really think these paint schemes do?

Fiat 500 Abarth Asetto Corse revealed at Mille Miglia {Autoblog}

May 15th 2008 1:00PM Agreed. That's gotta be one of the worst renderings/photoshop I've ever seen. Regardless, I am in love with these cars. I know they plan on releasing the 500 here in the US, can't remember if they plan on releasing the Abarth version here, but I'll be one of the first in line for this thing and will immediately be screeching the tires all over the streets.
Abarth 500. True Love.

Does car color correlate with personal confidence? {Autoblog}

May 15th 2008 12:16AM From what I recall the study was based on the net pollution involved with each respective vehicle. So not only it's emissions but also during the manufacturing process. Take the production of the prius's batteries and electric motor. Then the shipping of said products to it's final assembly plant, I'm not sure if it's really that far fetched.

VIDEO: Cadillac CTS-V takes to the 'Ring, pummels into submission {Autoblog}

May 14th 2008 8:21PM Is it just me or is that car automatic? I thought all CTS-Vs were equipped with the 6 speed. Maybe I just wasn't paying enough attention during the video. I can't imagine them running the automatic version around the ring since the manual would quicker.

VIDEO: God's ringtone is a V10-powered Audi R8 {Autoblog}

May 14th 2008 5:39PM What every car enthusiast should be doing. I'd gladly live in the slums to be able to afford driving around a R8, especially one with a v10.

Toyota responds to Ford's new initial quality ads {Autoblog}

May 12th 2008 12:14PM @ Shipey: I think your comment makes perfect sense in another way as well. Your old tempo was on its 4th owner and how many of them had been kids? You say you flogged it, I'm sure your brother did, and how many of the other owners drove it like a bat out of hell. These early 90s cars like the tempos and tauruses are mostly bought and driven by younger kids. Who don't take care of their cars, drive them into the ground and generally treat them like garbage. Doing donuts in parkways and speeding on city streets. I haven't seen a kid under 18 driving a Lexus. So I think it's just a perceived quality issue with some of the early 90s cars because of the types of buyers that buy them.

9ff proves the GT9 is stupid fast, tops 253 mph {Autoblog}

May 9th 2008 10:22PM Alright dude, calm down. You act like someone was insulting your mother. It's just a car man. And I think a dead sexy one at that. And to answer your question I would take a porsche over a bugatti. Not this 9ff modded GT9, but just a normal run of the mill Cayman. I just don't see a reason to have that kind of ridiculous power, I'm sure it makes some people all giddy but not me. Anyways, pretty sick and I'm sure 9ff is very proud of it's engineers. I would be.
