Mar 15th 2008 2:05AM Who would have ever thought Australia would save the US car market? Hate rebadging, this is the 9th car holden has launched that is great! Me want the Holden brand to take a conquest for the world...
It's a shame Pontiac couldn't come up with their own line/car... But that doesn't change the fact that the "Holden" G8 is still a badass car!

Feb 26th 2008 8:44PM I don't get why americans don't embrace the diesels, I mean if there is something you americans love, it's torque? On the other hand, the only great diesel powertrains have only been sitting in BMW's for the past three years or so...

Ford's Jim Farley wants the Fiesta hatchback in the US {Autoblog}
Feb 23rd 2008 9:33AM The 5-door version of this looks really good, although the sedan probably wont. Uhm, the current fiesta here in europe isin many ways inferior to the current Focus we get here. The current interior is in some ways like this one, and compared to the EuroFocus not so up-scale but hey seems better than the US-Focus either way. And one more thing, the rear light make it look identical to a Hyundai i30!!!

Feb 22nd 2008 1:21PM Those steering systems weren't active, they just turned as you turn your wheel... The's new ones are controled by computers and work really really well, used only when needed and catching dangerous slides that would be impossible by other systems. The old systems were fased out as the cars were extremely over-steered in their manor. Theese new systems provide extreme change of direction and what i've heard so far it works extremely well!

Feb 20th 2008 3:37PM Hum, don't like the idea of a hybrid powertrain... Adds weight and batteries degrade anyway! Not so good for this type of vehicle.
