May 14th 2008 9:35AM If I remember a 90's Metro would crumple in a head on with a mosquito. More safety robs both weight and mpg. Its still a good option for city dwellers where speeds dont get above 50 in most situations.

Apr 14th 2008 10:12PM I agree with not running red lights............. but In the north where it snows the yellow light should be longer. I dont know how many times I had to run a red light because I literally couldnt stop. Black ice is a bitch. What a wonderfull decision that is......try to stop without going into intersection or take your chances running the light completely.

Believe it or not some people who own Prius' arent douches trying to make a political statement. While I agree that super efficient econoboxes serve their purpose some people need a car with more capabilities. A family member owns a Prius and gets 53 mpg out of it, she saves $600 a month over her previous SUV in gas alone while using nav, bluetooth and other things econoboxes dont offer. BY the way having driven it, you couldnt pay me to be seen inside of one.

Nov 15th 2007 5:58PM Im sick of people saying Prius owners cant do math and are enviromental fruitcakes. I have a relative that drives one daily and is curently saving over $600 per month on gas and saved car payments after trading in her SUV. She gets about 54 mpg and is happier than anyone Ive seen with in one.
