Corvette ZR1 engineer says GT-R won't be King of the 'Ring for long {Autoblog}

May 2nd 2008 1:32PM "Whatever tricks Nissan has up their sleeve, Chevy will discover them and employ them." Nissan's "trick" is an incredibly sorted all-wheel drive system. I don't see an all-wheel drive Vette in future.

Corvette ZR1 engineer says GT-R won't be King of the 'Ring for long {Autoblog}

May 2nd 2008 1:10PM Horsepower numbers aside, I see the Vette having a difficult time surpassing the GT-R (or V-spec for that matter). From everything I've read, the GT-R basically bends the laws of physics to find grip where there shouldn't be any, it's all-wheel drive system is that sophisticated. That said, the 'Ring has some stupendously long straights where the ZR1 can stretch it's legs and then some.

Mazda unveils 2009 Mazda6 for North America {Autoblog}

Apr 25th 2008 10:53AM Wow, Mazda just blew the competition out of the water in the exterior-design department. Way more daring and sexy looking than the bland mobiles from Honda, Chevy, Toyota etc. No manual for the V-6 blows though.

Spy Shots: 2010 Volkswagen Robust pickup caught wearing its own sheetmetal {Autoblog}

Apr 22nd 2008 1:24PM Good to see the small truck segment re-surging. I've known (and experienced first-hand) too many people dis-appointed with VW's products to consider another one however; oil-consumption anyone? Common Honda, step-up and build us a 30-35 mpg mini pick-up.

2008 International Engine of the Year Award nominees announced {Autoblog}

Apr 17th 2008 1:01PM No contest, the M3's V8 is a technological wonder. 414hp from 4 liters and a redline of 8400rpm's? Oh yeah, and torque peak is at 3900 revs. That's an enormous spread of power...without turbos :)

VW Chairman Piech wants to buy motorcycle manufacturer {Autoblog}

Apr 16th 2008 1:47PM Re-badging a Dodge/Chrysler Caravan as a VW should automatically disqualify you from being able to own a motorcycle manufacturer.

Production Ford Transit Connect SportVan debuts {Autoblog}

Apr 15th 2008 12:28PM If my roadrace bike fits in the back I want one, not too thrilled about the front wheels being driven though :(

Next Ford Focus will be a "global project", C1 platform coming Stateside {Autoblog}

Apr 14th 2008 4:38PM Friggin' douche nozzles, should've been doing that the whole time.

HAMANN tunes the new BMW E92 M3 Coupe {Autoblog}

Apr 14th 2008 2:46PM Why compare the M3 to a GT-R? Totally pointless. In sedan form, I consider the M3 one of the best all-around cars at ANY price. But a flat-out performance contender to the GT-R? Uhh, no.

Subaru/Toyota coupe sketch surfaces {Autoblog}

Apr 10th 2008 12:06PM Maybe you should go back to a Camaro comment thread if you don't like peaky motors Big Jimbo ;) Oh, and the Civic Si is a fun car, and would be made even more so by powering the rear wheels.
