May 12th 2008 2:28PM Why couldn't he work with Tesla as a very closely involved investor? It sounds like his goals are already being met by the Roadster, but if that isn't the car he wants (if he prefers an Exige base, for example), I'm sure it would be faster and easier to have Tesla do a one-off for him rather than do all the R&D himself, which would put him in direct competition with Tesla anyway.

Oh, and with regards to this: "the continent comprises a 41-percent market share of all Lamborghini's sold in the world", does that mean this office is going to serve Canada and Mexico as well? If I lived in Canada, I would fly down to the dealership, pick up my car and take Highway 1 all the way back up :) I'm sure they have their own dealerships, but you can't beat the trip!
P.S. The plural of Lamborghini is Lamborghinis, no apostrophe. You should never add apostrophes when pluralizing.
