Hondas aren't exactly cheap. Fits are up to $17K. Accords are huge and expensive. S2000 is like $10K more than Miata and haven't been updated. Lack of torque is also annoying. My 2004 Cavalier has more torque than my dad's 2000 CRV.
Why put a torqueless revy boat engine in a heavy SUV???
