May 16th 2008 8:32AM Just like GM is late to the hybrid party. No one is claiming Ford invented turbos but until now they've only been used in performance applications and/or in relatively low volume cars. Ford is going to make them commonplace by using them on affordable cars in high numbers.

May 12th 2008 8:36AM Part of a race car's "performance" is the ability to protect the driver in a crash at race speeds. Roll this race-prepped Mustang and you live. Roll the Corvette and you die. Your point is invalid.

May 9th 2008 11:18AM Just drop the Tahoe/Yukon and apply the names to the Traverse/Acadia. That way you condense four models into two. But since this is GM I'm sure they'll keep all four and add two Pontiac versions so they can cannibalize sales from each other.

Wagoner says Volt still on for 2010 {Autoblog}
May 2nd 2008 10:32AM Once the battery issue is sorted out, most current hybrids will become plug-ins. Their advantage will be a proven track record vs. the Volt's seemingly rushed, 'from scratch' approach. The competition will probably be able to sell their plug-ins at a lower price while still making money on them. The Volt will either be too expensive or be a money loser for GM.
My thoughs, anyway.
