Nov 7th 2007 12:51PM Ever heard of sarcasm? You know, using a bit of Autoblog's error in my own sentence in order to make the point...

Here's a rephrasing for Willem: That headline sucked, guys.

Rumormill: New Fast and Furious movie on the way? {Autoblog}

Aug 27th 2007 11:42AM It's true they're not Oscar contenders. But for a car guy (hey, that's you, right?) it shouldn't matter. Still a bunch of cars going fast on a giant screen with loud speakers, plus hot chicks.

Jan 1st 2007 3:44PM gink, you're way off.

BMW is, and always has been, a forward-thinking company. They're embracing better technology, and hard nosed manual transmission loyalists are slow to follow suit. They'll lose some fans because of it, but I don't think they should mind. Should they just refuse to evolve as a leading innovator in auto engineering? Should they spend more (and charge more) in order to provide ideal solutions for every kind of driver? They're not obligated to do either of those things just because some drivers still want to row through their gears.

I drive a manual every day, and I love it. But I'm not a stubborn legalist about it. SMGs will get better with time, and they're the right way to go for any large auto maker.
