Jun 19th 2007 5:37PM Could this be the plant that produces the DSG-style transmission for the new Evo X (SST) and M3 (M DCT)? Getrag is supposed to be the supplier for both. Also, we know that Mitsu is using the Caliber platform for the X. Chrysler -> Dodge -> Mitsubishi? Seems to be a lot of sharing going on here. Hopefully these Getrag dual clutch transmissions will be strong enough to handle higher torque numbers than the BorgWarner DSGs. (Aside from the Veyron DSG, but that can hardly be counted as a production part.)

Nov 14th 2006 7:32PM Mentioning hydrogen is flammable is like saying "Oh yeah, gasoline is flammable." Hydrogen can actually be LESS flammable then gasoline, its self-ignition temperature is about 550 C, whereas gasolines is 228-501, based on the grade.

Nov 1st 2006 2:51PM #2 chill... all this progress on the other cars, while leaving the RX-8 behind seems to hint at the idea that: #1 the RX-8 is going to get revamped, or #2 the RX-7 "true" high-power sports coupe is coming (NOT roadster) seems to make more sense to me, as there has been some speculation in the car mags that the Kabura concept is headed towards the new RX-7. So in essence, why waste your time on a car that doesnt really have the enthusiast following that it wouldve liked, while you can regroup and come out with something truly remarkable. Mazda seems to be giving a lot of support to Mazdaspeed lately, so all these developements will be very interesting when it comes time to introducing a new real sports coupe. Besides, a sports car is probably going to be the least selling vehicle, and you can't spend money on developing one without selling enough of your other cars. Mazda is overdue for the perfect halo car.

Sep 26th 2006 7:52PM My Rebel XT can't even show how many pictures I cant take on my 8gb CF card. It holds something like 2300 full quality jpegs, and the LCD will just show "999". This is just... unnecessary for DSLRs. Unless your shooting on a Hasselblad or whatever...lol
