Mar 23rd 2008 3:11PM Don't forget that Toyota knows how to produce economical diesel engines like D4-D. It's just the American laws that don't allow it to insert diesels into Corolla and Yaris as in other countries.
If allowed, Prius could have a diesel plus an electric engines and show even better mileage.
