Oct 17th 2007 1:52PM i looked at the IS350 when i bought a car, and ended up with my A4 3.2; while the Lexus was certainly fast and it handled well, i found my Audi more interesting and entertaining. I think a lot had to do with the steering feel, suspension, and the fact that i was able to buy a 6-speed manual Audi with the V6 and Quattro.. i felt disconnected from the road in the lexus, no steering feedback, and the car glides over the road (a bonus if you want a purely comfort-oriented ride). When all was said and done, mine cost less than the Lexus i was looking at, which made the choice even easier.
someone mentioned the reliability for Audi... didn't we just read a consumer reports article posted on here that stated Audi's A3, A4, and A6 all having reliability ratings of "above average" or better? for me, 18 months later? i'm still loving my car... no problems... last week i even drove the new M-B C350, got back in my car, and actually said, " i love this car" out loud! haha

Sep 19th 2007 8:09PM wow....i don't know how else to put it... what's with front and rear lights that stick out 6 inches past the body panels? that seems real smart for off-road adventures... so ugly... it may be a comfortable suspension setup, but last time i rode in one, it felt really floaty, much more so that what you find in an equally-comfortable land rover with an IRS... let's be honest, the Jones' aren't going to be taking this thing onto roads much worse than the salted snowy roads of downtown Aspen...
