Next-gen Prius coming in January with more power, efficiency {Autoblog}
Apr 29th 2008 10:18PM Better efficiency is nice, but I'd like to know in what way it is getting larger. The 1st gen Prius appears smaller on the outside than the 2nd gen, but I simply cannot sit comfortably in a new Prius (knees in steering wheel), while I remember test-driving a 1st gen comfortably.
Big car on the outside does not equal big car on the inside.
2009 Suzuki SX4 getting nav system as standard equipment {Autoblog}
Apr 26th 2008 11:06AM AWD vehicles are purchased by people who want all weather traction. Fuel mileage does you no good in a ditch. Current SX4s are $14K to $18K. If you paid $20K for one, that's your own fault.
The next time you think that people only want cheap compact cars, price a Mini.

You don't need three mirrors all showing you the same thing.
The best way I was shown to adjust them is, for the Driver's side mirror, lean to the left until your head is against the window, THEN adjust the mirror like your idiot drivers ed. teacher taught you, with the side of the car just barely in view. Now, for the Passenger side mirror, lean to the right so your head is about in the center if the car, and adjust the same way, with the side of the car barely visible on the left edge of the mirror.
Now sit in your seat and watch as passing cars move from the rear view mirror, to the side mirror, to being visible out the windows. Amazing!

New York '08 Preview: 2010 Pontiac sports truck, GM wants you to name it! {Autoblog}
Mar 15th 2008 2:23PM I seem to be in the minority by thinking they're doing this right. Chevrolet already has plenty of trucks, and the last "sport truck" they tried to sell didn't make sense, and failed miserably.
GMC markets itself as "professional grade". Something similar to this truck may fit that description (maybe a small car-like "courier" truck), but the sporting intentions of this vehicle rule it out.
Pontiac is GM's sporty division. As far as trucks go, it doesn't get much more sporty than this. That, and it's a version of an existing Pontiac car. This isn't rocket science.

Feb 29th 2008 3:15AM Looks like an aftermarket part... and not "Sema" aftermarket, so much as "WalMart" aftermarket. All it needs are some velcro straps to hold it to the head rests, and maybe a big Audiovox logo on it. And with the exception of being able to play one DVD on both screens, they do nothing new. Infrared headphones? Seriously? Could they not swing the extra $20 for bluetooth?
