GM offers up to $200 million to end American Axle strike {Autoblog}
May 9th 2008 2:37PM I wonder how many of you UAW haters out there would have the balls to refuse a UAW job if you were offered one?
Armchair morons.

May 9th 2008 12:53PM "Now, with gas prices what they are, it may be Lambda to the rescue!
How nice would a 2-mode Hybrid V8 Acadia be?"
Are you out of your mind? Those lambda POS' are nearly as bad on fuel as the body on frame mega SUV's with the added bonus of less tow capacity. Anyway GM just put this out as a trial balloon to see what folks will say. They are busy reading all the blogs right now. This is their new way of accesing market trends (money is tight you know). They really don't know what they should do next. Hey Rick, Bob & Fritz, if you are reading this, I can help you with your next move so call in the legal department right now, it's called chapter 11. You better get a move on while(if) you still have some cash or it will be be chapter 7.

What idiot would consider any corporation immune to market realities? Where do you guys get this stuff from?
Pontiac El Cami-"NO" {Autoblog}
May 8th 2008 1:33PM "El Camino" moniker has been nixed as a potential name of the new G8 Sport Truck"
Now clueless Motors should take the next step and nix the whole vehicle all completely. producing this abortion has got to be the stupidest idea out of RenCen since the SSR.
Why hasn't anyone created a 2.0L DI turbo Fiero? {Autoblog}
May 7th 2008 11:06PM "...and ultimately dissolved into the pre-Lutz era corporate politics that was General Motors in the late '80s."
and how is any different now with Splutz? The Pontiac Fiero is a classic example of the complete stupidity that haunts the General both then AND now. The Solstice is yet another example of an 'almost' car that offers a bit of styling and little else.
GM discusses brand strategy, opens bag, releases cats {Autoblog}
May 1st 2008 6:00PM "All in all, I think Henderson and Young's transparency and authenticy is what should be commended here. This company is moving ahead to restructure through it
s new labor contract, and taming its legacy costs to be much more competitive. There will still be some bumps in the road until then--I'm looking to 2010 when its legacy costs will drop from about $7 billion a year to $1 billion and the release of the Volt. It will be a whole new ballgame then."
Leave that GM Kool-aid alone will ya, it's bad for your stomach. GM is doomed plain and simple. The new ballgame will be endless courtroom appearances by GM lawyers as they try to figure out who's to blame for the mess known as Clueless Motors. If they are lucky it will be a chapter 11 court and not a chapter 7. As for that Volt, if it ever sees the light of day, it will be the biggest anticlimax in automotive history.
Maximum Bob talks about Invicta and how not to rebadge cars {Autoblog}
May 1st 2008 4:15PM Don't pay the slightest bit of attention to what that twit Bobus Maximus has to say. In any case, this is far from any evidence that GM 'gets it'. As for that atrocious Invicta concept, just more rubbish from GM. They need to develop a good reliable ultra-economical car for the NA market that will sell by the bzillions not more mid size Buicks! GM get nothing!
Trouble at the top? Toyota vehicles sitting longer on dealer lots {Autoblog}
Apr 28th 2008 3:30PM This is news? Or more likely, you wanted to say something negative about the company that's eating your darling's (Clueless Motors) lunch.
Kirk Kerkorian to up ownership in Ford to 5.6 percent {Autoblog}
Apr 28th 2008 11:46AM Wise up you guys. Cap'n Kirk sees an opportunity to make money. Ford is the only one of the D3 doing the right things to survive and thrive. Kerkorian sees that Mulally is slowly but surely turning Ford around. Unlike that other crowd of insufferable, arrogant bozos over at RenCen. Look at it this way, he's moving into Ford so that when Clueless Motors goes down providing Ford with the opportunity to take up the slack, he will be raking in the dough. Smart man!
