GM admits Malibu in short supply {Autoblog}
Jan 7th 2008 3:35PM I drove a rental Aura that was pretty much maxed out on the options and hated it. I can't stand the hard plastic door linings. The fricking car caused the radio and conversations to echo because of all the hard plastic in it. I hope the Malibu isn't the same way.

Jan 7th 2008 2:31PM I agree. I like the tail lamps. I however hate the front grill. It makes the whole car look cheap.

At the Cadillac CAFE, V8s likely to come off the menu {Autoblog}
Jan 7th 2008 9:13AM Just because a small handful of automotive big engine enthusiasts will not be able to get a V8 does not mean the customer is getting "screwed". There are a lot of products out there that don't come in the size, color, or style that I want but I don't feel screwed because of it.
Chery to delay exports to Europe {Autoblog}
Jan 7th 2008 9:07AM "Chery and its peers are getting their collective acts together and while these cars are currently punchlines, they won't be for long."
I completely agree with this statement. It will only take a couple product cycles for these cars to at least match the current Kia's and Hyundai's. They will be laughed at for the next decade but could easily surpass Japanese automakers if China mimics the Japanese business and design models of 20 years ago. That is if they don't start using mercury lined air filters and lead lined air bags.
