House of Reps approves doomed energy bill {Autoblog}

Dec 6th 2007 5:18PM Look i am sure automakers will find loopholes to avoid 35 MPG, but if the law passes they will have to make more fuel effecient cars than they make now. Overall they will not get 35....but they will get 30, now the law is 27 mpg but overall economy is at 22 or 23.

This CAFE law is a great thing.

Dec 6th 2007 5:16PM Bush needs to ask himself a question, what will he be remembered for….he did nothing for well being of the nation, did not fix social security, 40 million uninsured, war, debt, at the very least he try to clean air and make USA oil free……………..but I really do not think he cares.

I personally voted for Bush, 2 times. Bush basically turned me into a Democrat, I never was one, but now I feel many Republicans will if not swich…..then just seat at home on Nov 2nd.

GM and Ford planning production cuts for first quarter of '08 {Autoblog}

Dec 4th 2007 1:28PM Looking at everything now i think UAW got screwed by these contracts.

Dec 4th 2007 1:25PM OK i'll start.

Don't forget Smart is a part of a Huge corporation, so do not discount it simply because it costs 15 Gs and Bugatti goes for 1 mil.

GM and Ford planning production cuts for first quarter of '08 {Autoblog}

Dec 4th 2007 1:13PM Look what we need to know is not general info about production cuts at GM, we need to know the exact number of units they are planning to make of Chevy Travesty—or whatever it is called. This clone of Buick Enclave and Saturn may hurt sales of these SUVs…that may be very, very painful for Buick because this Enclave is probably the only reason people even use the word Buick in a conversation.

As far as Ford goes…………….who cares.

Changing of the guard at Jalopnik {Autoblog}

Nov 30th 2007 1:30PM Mal both have their strong sides, but i would add to that list The Truth About Cars (TWAT awards) who also provide good info and Ten Gears, they often provide info from Wall Street Journal, CNET, AUTOMOBILE and such. Believe it or not WSJ and CNET have some pretty good car info. I check all of them every day, however Autoblog by far and beyond is the best.
