Honda system warns motorists of crime hotspots, steers clear of Detroit {Autoblog}
Apr 21st 2008 6:19PM "Places like Washington DC, where crime is apparently legal and perpetrated by criminals with offices and staffs. Detroit might be marked with an avoidance warning too, but that's more likely due to Honda wanting to avoid a Jets-Sharks danceoff."
DC and Detroit? Racism on Autoblog! You are not supposed to talk about these things, didn't you know that? If crime isn't mentioned in the media it will go away!
Bush thinks ethanol is increasing price of corn {Autoblog Green}
Mar 7th 2008 8:40PM Gee this just gets better and better! An ABGreen Progressive "quoting" the Bible? Maybe I could get a job blogging here? Look! Here's my resume! Tell me I'm not ideal for the job!
My resume ehh my beliefs (who cares about something as mundane as ability or common sense these days):
- Bush is the Anti-Christ
- I think democracy doesn't really work
- I don't like rich people
- Everybody should be equally poor
- Hope and Change!
- This unusually cold winter is because of Global Warming ehh Climate Change
- I don't really like cars; public transportation is the future!
- Someone's gain is someone's loss
- I wish Ford and GM would go bancrupt!
- I hate Bush with all my non-soul!
For a full resume, by all means contact me! You've got my address.
Ford one of the ten most toxic companies? {Autoblog Green}
Feb 28th 2008 1:30PM "These companies were not chosen simply based on their harmfulness to the environment, but also on what they could be doing, but aren't, to fix the problems that they do have."
Sounds a little subjective doesn't it? Kind of like total bullshit subjective.
Chevy Volt volumes will ramp up, probably starting at about 10,000 units {Autoblog Green}
Feb 26th 2008 8:52AM "Global warming denier" - I like that. Has a nice ring to it like "Holocaust denier." Why don't we use "thoughtcriminal" or "thoughtcrime" for everything that doesn't conform to the green/PC gospel?
"Gee I'm not sure about that global watming stuff"
THOUGHTCRIME!
Someone mentions fried chicken while commenting on a Caddy Escalade:
THOUGHTCRIME!
"Financing companies should not be forced to lend to people who can't pay back"
THOUGHTCRIME!
"Green fuel causes destruction of the rainforests"
THOUGHTCRIME!
And so on. Maybe ABGreen can add a button we can push when we feel offended so we don't have to reply. After all, being insensitive to correctly thinking people is thoughtcrime.
Brits to sample the new VW Tiguan TDI {Autoblog Green}
Feb 11th 2008 8:59PM I tried out a Tiguan TDI last weekend. I was fortunate enough to enjoy ideal conditions; snow and very slippery streets. I was really impressed. I've driven most of the current competion and the Tiguan feels like it's 10 years ahead of the Rav4 which is probably one of the best "small SUVs" currently. It was tremendously steady in the snow and the suspension was great. It felt really solid and I got the impression I was driving a premium car (at a premium price hehe), almost like a smaller version of the Merc ML SUV. The engine works really well. It has plenty of power and the torque is availabe pretty much immediately and all the way up to redline. The only problem with this car is the price but considering how it performs and all the technology that's crammed into it, it's probably worth it.
"Hummers are greener than Prius" study makes it into an episode of ABC's Boston Legal {Autoblog Green}
Jan 30th 2008 10:29AM This speech is copied directly from a well know article that has been published all over the place. Environmentalists hate that article.
"I like it!"

That's the Ticket! Crowd cheers as Veyron gets parking fine {Autoblog}
Jan 28th 2008 2:33PM England is a socialist country where the working class suffers from massive class envy. Cheering a parking ticket is nothing. Usually Brits spit on expensive cars (particularly convertibles) and introduce their keys to their paintwork. This guy got off lightly.
