Dec 5th 2007 9:59AM I would love to have diesel options here, especially of the big luxo-bargs as Car and Driver magazine calls them. I think diesels could also do wonders for hybrids. Just imagine a diesel-electric hybrid and how much mpg it could get! I wouldn't buy it anyways, until hybrids can be sporty I will never buy one.

Dec 5th 2007 7:58AM You make a good point but you forgot one thing, for some reason diesels are not accepted in North America. Thats why the manufacturers don't make diesels here. So at least for North America, you can't compare the Lexus to a diesel version of the 7-Series of A8.
