Apr 20th 2008 4:23PM Sorta off topic, but sorta the same........ One message said be a regular and get to know your "butcher," to get good deals and good prices. I am a small florist...........do you like fresh flowers that are CATEGORICALLY BETTER and very reliable and GUARANTEED to last well? Find a VERY SMALL florist, not one of those "factory" operations; Visit from time to time, buy one or two stems of the best flowers......... REGULARLY! The owner will get to know you and reward you with the best flowers at his LOWEST prices! TRUST ME! It's true!

Apr 14th 2008 3:27PM Sort of off topic, but, speaking of incredible Euro classics.........yesterday i saw a rather boring movie on TCM, "The Ambassador's Daughter," 1956, Olivia de Havilland, Myrna Loy, John Forsythe, and in one scene there was a very large gold coupe, sorta fastback, I could not discern any logo, it was a beautiful car..... looked kinda late 40's..... Anybody know the car? or the movie?

Apr 14th 2008 3:15PM Does anyone agree with me that this car looks WAY better in person than in pictures? I think it is a great car, yeah, I have read all the specs and road tests, and NO! I will never afford one........ but, I rather have it than most any 2 door lux coupe. certainly more than an "SL" which I see on EVERY CORNER here in Miami... Oh, and, don't worry, the Cien will come when the time is right.

Michigan potholes so big, they're awarded prizes {Autoblog}
Apr 9th 2008 1:50PM I used to live in Chicago (still miss it) but for sure I noticed WHERE MOST potholes originated. It is USUALLY on the edge, boundary, etc. between the MAIN street and a PATCH! They totally improve and re-pave a street, and a couple MONTHS later? gas or electric or phone or? come along and DIG IT UP again. They lay a BAD patch, and after one or two winters, the boundary is separating and then comes a small hole, and a few winter storms later? It has at least one huge hole. Anyone agree with me?

Apr 8th 2008 4:05PM Has anyone mentioned that probably 99.99% of TRUCKS are DELIVERING GOODS and PERFORMING SERVICES to Manhattan? Does anyone imagine people go on a JOYRIDE? in a car OR a truck, to Manhattan? If you charge delivery trucks MORE, the goods and services will necessarily increase in costs, and, (duh) it will be even MORE expensive to live and run a business there! Oh, by the way, I am in Miami, so no personal interest in my comments.. but I do have my own business...100% of which the products are delivered.
