VIDEO: Corvette ZR1 posts 205 mph top speed {Autoblog}

Apr 25th 2008 12:30PM I'll say it once again. What a pure unedited simple video.
GM's really got it's act together....Miles ahead of Chrysler and Ford with it's CTS (and awesome interior), Solstice Coupe, Buick Enclave, Malibu and G8!!!!!

Just fix the interior of the Solstice and thats all I ask!

VIDEO: Corvette ZR1 posts 205 mph top speed {Autoblog}

Apr 25th 2008 12:28PM I've never seen what 205 mph looks like from car view.
Wow. Simply wow. I thought jets seemed fast during take off and many are doing '185-200'. Seeing this from the front seat of a car is scary.
WOW!!!!!!!!!
Go GM!

And for the Vette is just seemed like a breeze!

Big refund for Brits: Busiest speed camera deemed unlawful {Autoblog}

Agreed. They dont say anything. Traffic cameras everwhere, face recognizing cameras all over city blocks in London, insane seurity checks at airports, anti-freedom of speech laws.
Sheep.

In the Autoblog Garage: 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI {Autoblog}

Mar 25th 2008 3:23PM I agree with Zamafir. He's not saying that the 335 is not faster. It is a lot compared to the GTI. He's saying that it doesnt feel faster unless you check the numbers.
Havign driven both multiple times I agree.

Perhaps some of it has to do with the GTI's sudden turbo kick versus the 335's smooth delivery, the 335's hushed cabin and softer suspension.

Kind of why the New Evo and STI feel slower than the old, although they are as fast.

BMW considering tii version of the next 3-series? {Autoblog}

Mar 12th 2008 11:54PM I agree with Toy. It seems the 335 w chip and exhaust produce the same HP ratings as the M3, with the advantage of much more torque for real world driving (plus the elimination of th eneed to rev a V8 to 8000rmp).

Add a LSD and the 335+Procede is an M3, if not better for 3K more than a 335.

Round Three: Mayor of London rejects Porsche, we're going to court {Autoblog}

Mar 11th 2008 4:43PM Interesting you mention that. I used to live in the UK in the 80's. Since then lots has changed. The Government is trying to 'neuter' the society. And the people like sheep dont protest.
Ridiculous, there are cameras (traffic and monitoring) omnipresent (25,000+ traffic cameras in England, monitoring caneras on tons of blocks in London/Oxford), laws introduced that curtail free speech, immense taxes (many of them hidden), an attempt to create a DNA based national identify card etc etc..now these ridiculous traffic laws.

Where does this end? It's beginning to sound more like Saudi Arabia!

Geneva 2008: Audi TT 2.0 TDI quattro {Autoblog}

Mar 5th 2008 2:17AM Nagma,
First of all, relax.
Secondly, let's talk about the effect of having more mass on the nose. Understeer. Subaru and particularly the Evo doenst have that problem because its AWD is rear wheel biased. This allows for the car to rotate better.
In the Evo the AWD system goes a notch above with torque vectoring. It allows it to pull .99G on the skid pad.

And please dont bring in the TSX or Civic Si in this example. No body calls them "sports Cars' and they are not in the same price league.
