Jun 18th 2008 4:34PM well one this is for sure, \
The ranking system works very nice.. I had ranked sacyyz, low, based on some other stupid comment long time back probably and this time it showed "lowest ranked" right besides his name.
So i guess it works abt fine.. u guys can rank too.. lol..anyone can.
Its a good car, Saw tons of this ar and the variations, even HSV models in australia..
I would buy the GXP once it comes out, the only thing its missing is a navigation, which u feel like having when u spend abt 40K OTD on a fast car.

May 30th 2008 1:25PM to desi.. CTS-V....... wont that be better.. except for the AWD which would assist the driver in corners?
beta, I think the CTS-V at 550HP will be less than 78, loaded. or maybe I am missing something.

Mar 19th 2008 12:35PM I like it..
I still wish that the GXP had HUDs and an optional nav. Atleast an HUDs.
maybe they are holding back some info.
Now the price shouildnt be too far from the GT. please GM.

Mar 19th 2008 11:29AM the torque at the crank of a 6L is eleventy billion times more than that at the crank of a 2L
My point was that those low displacement motors even if they have 300 at full potential are stil lacking torque.
No Replacement for Displacement.
U feel it on the on ramps, while merging on the freeways..

Mar 19th 2008 11:02AM I have seen (they are not uncommon) 6L and 6.1L generating a lot more than 400...err wait 500..better yet 600HP.. and have seen some generating 800-1000.
No biggie there, atleast, not as big as a 2L generating 300 at the crank.
And then there's torque, I am sure 99% here atleast those with 2L have no idea what 450lb-ft really does to you at 20 or 80mph or 120mph.
600 is the new 400, 400 is the new 300.
veeeetaaach ...Oh yeah.

Mar 19th 2008 10:50AM "300whp+ out of 2.5L subarus, you'd think a 6L would do much better." lets talk stock. at stock setup its crank HP and not AWHP.
227hp at the crank out of a 2 liter. how abt the torque out of your 2 liter?
and why would you think so? Have you ever looked at the torque specs?
The 6L doesnt have to be revved the flip up to cross 300.
No forced induction. I concur longer engine life as well.
Again, why are we discussing bhp/L?
Some biker will join in and say my 0.6 L makes 100BHP? or 140BHP? yeah tight at 16000 rpm or so.
WHY are we going in this direction?

Mar 15th 2008 4:27PM I wish the gas stays where it is... and dont mind if it crosses 4 or 5. That 'll make sure that the dealers cant sell em and i'll have a go at it, like i did with my GTO.. lol.. Get it maybe 4-5 under MSRP.
And i dont mind missing a meal a day so I can drive 60 - 100 miles in my gas guzzling V8..
Oh things I wish..
