Saturn Side-by-Side-by-Side campaign launches {Autoblog}

Jun 11th 2007 10:10PM MY PREVIOUS LETTER POSTED IN AUTOBLOG FROM A TOYOTA DEALERSHIP OWNER, TO SATURN DEALERSHIPS:

Owner_Toyota_dealership @ Jun 10th 2007 6:04PM

From the bottom of our heart the guys at Toyota, want to thank you: GM for having all this troubles just for making us look better right in front of YOU.

Its one of the most condescending acts in the Automotive history, in fact, some of us, Toyota-dealeship owners think that you should get a free leasing.

One Last Wish: Please Put the 2007 Honda Accord, NOT THE '08.

Thanks, you are great, without you, WE COULN'T BE #1!

ANYWAY, MY SECOND POST:

Seems like all the Domestics die-hard fans were called, (speaking of domestics: that's just a bad term, How's a Ford built in Mexico more Domestic than a Toyota built the US)
As i can quote from Jon @ Jun 10th 2007 8:08PM
"Thank god GM is dropping the ball on the Cobalt SS what a piece of shit that is. To Matt i rented a G6 and i wasn't impressed with it at all,cheap crappy made interior plastics and overall crappy made GM product."

You wanna hear a secret from the Number One Car Company in the world, it's all about the product, not were is it built or buy who, not even the price, it's product.
How can you design the Aura's new interior, with such plastic, cheap materials, it's like a slap in the face for Saturn's fans (wherever those 10 guys are oops).

Anyway i 've always like to speak in numbers:

SO WHAT I PROPOSE IS THIS: Let's all come back and write in this blog 30 days after this Saturn maketing campaign has started, and i bet you are going to see a Camry sales bump, and i'm not talking about the 430 that they got for the dealers.

I remember back in 70's when Coca Cola change it's formula, cause they thought people were tired of it, Long story short Pepsi sales skyrocketed to a never seen before number.

Last but not least: Another quote from one Saturn Loyalist:
"It is easy to say (Only as an example) that a G6 is better than say, an Accord when both come brand new from the showroom. But 30, 50, 70 000 miles down the road, which one is gonna be the best. That is the kind of comparison where the NA brands have suffered the most, and this, for too many years now."

To commemorate, i'm giving all my employees the day off, (Tuesday 12, June) so tonight go out party, celebrate, and drink cause this is sure gonna be remembered as one of the worse decisions ever made, and i'm not talking about the car business, i'm talking about business in general.

Sincerely, Greg T. Burgos.

By the way, it´s great for a project, get an engine that fit this (Mini, Honda Fit...) an benefit for Hundreds of Millions in research in testing, aerodinamics....

Alan Mulally, super hero: Ford CEO saves President Bush's life {Autoblog}

Apr 9th 2007 11:14AM Why did you stopped him?
How come the 2 holes were nearly identical, and nobody told Mr. B that which one he was supposed to plug-in, uhm, How come this is the first time in History that after 600-working-prototypes of electric cars THIS one was sent to Bush, maybe Al-Qaeda sent it. LOL

How come nobody has made-up a conspiracy abaout this? Maybe i should call Michael Moore.

Chris Shunk: it was a great post.

General Motors Heritage Collection: An amazing collection few will ever see! {Autoblog}

Mar 15th 2007 10:31AM Let´s see: 200 visitors daily @ $100 each one, from Monday to Friday:
That would be $100 GRAND every week, that in a whole month abaout $400,000 dollars, asn then lets see it would be open 10 months a year, 1 month closed for vacations and the other for maintenance.

OMG! $4,000,000 a year, somebody email this to Rick Wagoner, your are gonna make 4 millions every year in profits... finally.

Geneva Motor Show: BMW M3 Concept {Autoblog}

Mar 6th 2007 5:13PM There´s some polarized opinions here, so here are my two cents.

Pros:
1. Beatiful Ornament on the Hood
2. Really distinguishable from the stock coupe.
3. 420 BHP!
4. Carbon Fiber roof.
5. Side air inlets.
6. It keeps up to its reputation, as one of the best sports car ever.

Cons:
1. Why grey? This is a concept, go with Imola Red next time.
2. The Rims could look more like the M5.
3. Inside sources say it will be priced against the RS4, which costs abaout 66k. ouch.

MB's next major innovation: Vented Taillights? {Autoblog}

Feb 9th 2007 11:24PM 5. wasnt the old C class already 0.27 cd

Was it? uhm that would be funny all that trouble an having the same cd?

By the way DO NOT len your 2008 C55 to your-still-in-highschool daughter, that rear tailights would set you back for around $780. USD that is.
