Jul 22nd 2008 1:00PM I kinda like it. Reminds me of something I'd see in the original Batman cartoons.

If you're gonna scale it, then you might as well go all the way. While it's true that there have been past warming and cooling cycles, the pollution per day, as you put it, is higher than it has ever been in the past.

Speaking of political sham, what exactly is the objective of said sham? To make everyone run green? Oh noes.

Jul 11th 2008 3:13PM Actually I'm guilty of thinking the same way, that is until they had a Supercar session at a local track event I go to. An SLR, Noble, Porsche GT3, some Ferraris and Lamborghinis all came out to play, and most of them were doing very, very well. To be honest, the only major group of cars that weren't doing well across the board were the Corvette owners. That's not to say there weren't fast 'vette drivers there, but if you're looking for a "poser" group to point the finger at, based on my observations, it was more likely to be a vette owner. But this is all beyond the scope of this article. Cool Benz.

Jul 10th 2008 2:18PM I'm just amazed that they're actually making it smaller. That's definitely extra bonus points. Meanwhile everyone is still making their cars bigger and fatter (including the 3, no offense =p).

VIDEO: Porsche engine runs the 'Ring, virtually {Autoblog}

Jun 27th 2008 8:01PM Actually, LS2 isn't that far off the mark. This is supposed to be a cheap alternative, not a complete replacement for running the ring. Obviously once they've perfected on this device, they're gonna trial it on the track. Please don't believe that this device is so good that they wouldn't even bother to do that. If it's any consolation, though, I don't think there are too many sustained g turns on the ring, maybe the two carousels and one of the beginning hairpins.

Gauntlet thrown: Corvette ZR1 laps the 'Ring in 7:26.4 {Autoblog}

Jun 27th 2008 1:52PM I'd believe it, just because that's the way I am, but I think what NT asks for is fair. The GTR was hit with so much skepticism, even with a video, I don't see why the ZR1 should be spared either. Or is it because it's a domestic that we can go lightly on it?

Jun 20th 2008 6:41PM Yah i wasted my time sifting through it, but page 51 has all the pertinent posts lumped together. They're written by A1 guy or something like that.

Jun 19th 2008 5:04PM Amuse GT1 S2000 with slicks. Must have slicks. It's absurd on street tires (but it will really make sure you've got your RWD basics down). I didn't get far enough to try out too many cars.
