Nup, sorry, can't push out the derision today. I'm quite impressed by these renders (though do, get rid of that grille).
Now for the accompanying increase in quality, a tough imported turbo or v8 motor and Geeley's on their way.

Mar 24th 2008 11:23PM 'Demolish' is a bit of an exaggeration I think, but would love to see that tested for sure.

Mar 24th 2008 11:17PM The V-Spec will reduce weight, always does.
It is quite heavy compared to previous generation GT-R's but that's because of added safety, a bigger engine (3.8 vs 2.6 though the RB26DETT was not really a lightweight) and more gizmo's than any previous bare bones GT-R.
Still manages reasonable economy given what it is.

Feb 20th 2008 12:14AM Ok? Maybe the headlights, but that's where it ends.
I don't see Acura's with a big torquey 360HP+ 4.0L DOHC inline 6 with a turbo strapped on for good measure?
The Falcon XR6 Turbo has great potential for tuning too.
Nissan GT-R can't take aftermarket wheels, unapproved race tracks are out {Autoblog}
Feb 7th 2008 7:45PM Definitely not impressed by these measures, Nissan.
The aftermarket is where the fun begins, as should be abundantly clear with the incredible popularity with the previous CA, SR, RB, VQ etc powered 'tuner' Nissans.
