Apr 22nd 2008 12:34PM Shame on you Michael. There are numerous studies to show you are wrong. Yes a good chunk are probably supported by big oil. But there is also consistancy. Places like Costco, Safeway, QFC, etc find whatever is cheapest out there, and it isn't always the same.
AM/PM? Notice how you have to pay an ATM fee? Totally negates your savings. Some people will drive all over town to save a penny or two per gallon which is dumb. $0.02 per gallon x 15 is only $0.30!
And even getting Top Tier is only like $100 more per year. Pisses me off seeing brand new, highend cars filling up at crap-gas stations.

Apr 10th 2008 2:47PM I understand that TV is not made to just entertain, but made to make money. And I understand that car companies will want to buy a lot of ad space on this show since it will be their target audience.
However, mess with the formula too much and it isn't going to work. This has a great chance to work here in America. It seems most car magazines can make it work, I hope that TV can too.

Apr 9th 2008 11:13AM One thing I never get is why does VW group always seem to be trying to bring VW upmarket and compete directly with Audi? I mean VW has always been created as the people's car. This four door "coupe" should be under the Audi emblem not VW.
