yeah they do cost more, but the GTI/Cooper S are the "faster" versions. if there was an Astra Redline, it'd been more fair, but there isn't. the only thing i wasn't thrilled about was lack of a more sporty option. i think its a great car for the price. but i think our version of the Astra was just to replace the Ion, and its years miles ahead of that for sure.

Aug 8th 2008 10:41AM i test drove one a while back. i really liked it, the interior was way better then expecting. but you sit it next to the GTI or Cooper S and it falls short. hopefully the next gen model will have more sporting engines/suspension.

Jul 30th 2008 10:22AM Yeah, i saw a silver one south of Indy. it was on I-65 just north of Louisville, KY. I-65 goes from 4 lanes at 70mph to 6 lanes at 55mph. if you are ever going that way, don't go over 65, they always have people pulled over in that area. just dumb it drops 15 mph when they add 2 more lanes

Jul 3rd 2008 1:01PM as a 06 GT owner, i think a base turbo 4 would be sweet, with the GT being the twin turbo 6, and leave the V8's for shelby and the like.
if i were to buy another mustang, i'd have no problem it being a turbo 6 or even a 4, if the 4 saved alot of weight and had around 300 hp.

i loved going to the USGP in indy, great place to host the race. many of the drivers liked it as well...as long as their tires weren't blowing apart anyway...that year sort of sucked, haha

Jun 15th 2008 2:23PM i think my head just exploded. someday down the road, i had planned on looking into a GTI, Cooper S to name a few. there are things i like about both, but the Cooper S was just more expensive and i was leaning towards GTI (of those two at least) i can't believe they wouldn't sell the MKVI here.

Jun 12th 2008 9:38AM the Gov helps out anyone willing to put jobs here. Honda got big tax breaks and so on for building a new factory in Indiana.
i'm sure GM's truck plant in Fort Wayne got tax breaks along time ago, and more in recent years.
if it takes tax breaks to bring decent paying jobs in, so be it...the people with the jobs are still paying taxes.
