Jan 6th 2009 3:25PM People in the UK don't know the Opel name, they have to keep the Vauxhall name. It lose GM even more money in the UK plus imagine the cost of promoting the Opel name. It wouldn't benefit GM at all.
Though all in the all the Opel and Vauxhall brandscars are identical, apart from the badges.

Sep 4th 2008 8:51AM The population of Western Europe and the USA are roughly the same, as well as the economic situations. Comparing the USA to the whole of Europe would make the results even worse with all those eastern block countries. Comparing Western Europe to the all of the USA is a fair comparison, so no the results haven't been fixed in favour of the US.
Plus this is 3G coverage, its nothing important in the grand scheme of things.
