Jul 11th 2007 12:34PM pet peve of mine: It will not be a "TT" engine - aka "Twin Turbo". Twin Turbo setups are really only used on inline engines, such as Toyota's famous Twin Turbo Supra's 2JZ-GTE. What a twin turbo setup implies is two turbos being spooled by the same exhaust flow, one after another. Usually the setup is sequential, with a smaller turbo first in line, spooling early, and a larger turbo behind, spooling later.
Regardless, the proper name for a V-type engine with two turbos, such as this one, would be "bi-turbo".

Mar 1st 2007 12:33PM The general stupidity in these 'comments' is staggering. These are *STOCK OPTIONS * people - He isn't drawing down a 'war chest' or getting more money thrown at him. I take it you simpletons don't even understand a basic concept like a 'stock option' do you? *IF* Mulally can get Ford's share price up, he stands to have an extra 1 million options that could be in the money. It's really hard to draw any judgment from this blog posting, as no one seems to know what the option exercise price is, or when they vest - So shut the hell up, let the smart people run the companies and you guy can continue to work the assembly line.

I think you should take some introduction to Accounting course - GM's sales decreasing would affect the INCOME STATEMENT, not the balance sheet :P
and a reduction in volume does not necessarily equate to "red" (negative balance).

Feb 9th 2007 8:41PM #93: Production of this car will shift to the Canadian plant in two years. As well, this car is replacing the Grand Prix and Bonneville, so if it doesn't come to Canada, Pontiac is essentially a neutered brand here. Combine those two facts and I'm going to say "yes, it's coming to Canada".

Aug 27th 2006 10:46AM #1: Obviously you're the one smoking something. THe SX4 is a *hatchback* with AWD. The fact that it has AWD does not make it an SUV. Unless you're convinced all Subarus are also SUVs.
Get a clue and do some reading. The SX4 is meant to compete with teh likes of the Yaris, Fit and Versa. It simply has a bigger, more powerful engine and AWD in an effort to differentiate itself and appeal to a different market - Not to go off-roading, it's not a new Suzuki Samurai ;)
