The vent is one color brown, cluster trim another, vent slats another, and the dash yet another! Brown on center cluster different than the shifter (which doesn't appear to be leather but plastic). So all the dash is different, you won't find that in an import... I don't think this is lighting either.... You can clearly see the line between the main dash and the pice that surrounds the vent, etc... Poor quality.

Aug 24th 2007 4:30PM Why would you want AWD all the time, when you can have FWD for the 98% of the time you only need FWD and have AWD only when required? Most every SUV/CUV/XUV are on pavement for their entire life. Even in winter most of the time FWD is all you need.
I'm always floored that so often the complaint about SUV's are how they can't handle the backwoods off road driving that nearly no one does. If you want that, go after a truck that does it, don't bash on the ones that are made for real world conditions.
Also - this car is an Odyssey, it's got the same engine, frame, etc as the van... so what? It's a people hauler that can get 8 people from point A-B and looks a lot better. Aren't most SUV's pretty similiar to a van, with 4WD added? Maybe additional towing..

Aug 3rd 2007 4:28PM Doesn't Toyota already have a 34.7 CAFE average? Don't they also sell lots of trucks and SUV's? The detroit 3 should not need a law to make them do what the customers want... Didn't we just see Toyota post a $34B profit for the quarter, how'd GM do? If they don't want to change then, they are just digging their own grave. Whenever the law does pass, and it comes in at 30mpg, Toyota will probably be at 50mpg by 2020.
