With crisis looming, GM may unveil Volt for 100th anniversary {Autoblog}

Jul 8th 2008 10:57PM Trishield you are an idiot. Everyone on EVERY board knows this. I'd like to see you ONCE put your money where your mouth is instead of telling everyone how much you know and how little they know.

You are an elitist prick, and frankly I hope you lose your job.

GM shrinks Volt's gas tank, range drops from 600 to 360 miles {Autoblog}

Jul 8th 2008 8:38PM Last time I checked the first generation Prius was a novelty. But it allowed Toyota to build the second and third generation Prius.

The only thing you can fault GM for is talking too much about future product. But you know what, they are damned if they don't as everyone will think they are sitting there doing nothing.

So I guess GM takes the road where at least some people will get behind them. Those of you who complain on boards like this about GM wouldn't buy a GM car even if it was the best car in the world. The badge must hurt your eyes.

Chrysler closing west coast design center {Autoblog}

Mar 9th 2008 8:26PM Except Chrysler was in Highland Park not Ham town.

Developer wants to build tunnel under Long Island Sound {Autoblog}

Jan 31st 2008 10:32AM The 106 is already a divided highway to the 25A so you could jump off that, obviously the BEST solution would be to extend the 135 Freeway north into the tunnel.

This probably will get killed, only to lead to worse traffic later on. Here in MI the I-275 North connector was never built (even numbered hundred interstates supposedly are reconnecting spurs), so the freeway stops half way along the proposed route. The land that was suppose to be the upper half is now so over congested that a freeway thru that area would aliviate the problems. Now it is too expensive to do that.

I say buldose a way thru and screw the people who live there, but that is becuase I live half a mile from an interstate and know my house won't ever be knocked down for highway expansion.

Jewish racer describes antisemitism in NASCAR {Autoblog}

Jan 23rd 2008 10:41AM "Although NASCAR has a diversity program in place, Denning has been refused three times, having been told the program is only for women, Hispanics and African-Americans."

Isn't that just wrong? What about everyone else, hell what about reverse discrimination diversity. Diversity shouldn't be confined to be for the benefit of specific groups

Toyota Tundra named Motor Trend 2008 Truck of the Year {Autoblog}

Dec 18th 2007 12:56PM It was the only Light Duty pickup that was up for the award.

This is like winning a mayoral election when you run uncontested and claiming how good you are.

Hopefully with America Sucks as your handle you don't live in the US. If you do, may I suggest you find a new place to live.

Toyota Tundra named Motor Trend 2008 Truck of the Year {Autoblog}

Dec 18th 2007 12:51PM Pretty much.

This award is easy to call since Nissian, Dodge, Toyota, Ford and GM rarely release a totally new truck the same year. Hell even the Ridgeline wannabe didn't have any REAL competition that year.

IIHS awards 34 models its Top Safety Pick Award for 2008 {Autoblog}

Nov 15th 2007 12:03PM How can the Tundra which got a 4star government rating get an IIHS Top Safety Pick? Aren't the IIHS test tougher?

Truck should not be on the list even if it passed the IIHS tests with flying colors, the fact it hasn't done well in one of the tests (Gov or IIHS) means some part of it isn't the safest it could be.

Bling Maximum: 2009 Cadillac Escalade Platinum {Autoblog}

Nov 9th 2007 10:21AM Comments like yours are just stupid.

The upgrades to this thing cost very little, and GM will sell every single one they build (with ridiculous margin).

BTW, GM is also developing the Volt, Two-Mode, Clean Diesels and these at the same time.

It is possible to multi task you know.
