And, as one AAA spokesman said, senior drivers tend to be self-limiting, which means they recognize their liabilities and avoid driving in situations (such as at night) where they're not comfortable. Now, if only their left blinkers could be self-limiting while driving in Florida ...

Mar 25th 2008 4:30PM With more and more departments engaging in no pursuit policies they don't need cruisers that can go much faster than this Beetle (local - not highway departments). Maybe VW could bring back the VW Thing as a police vehicle. Would make more sense than those gas hogging Explorers departments are growing fond of.
