Jul 9th 2007 11:07AM I am not saying being "German" makes it safer. What I should have said is that Jeep should learn something from the German car makers, i.e. Audi who makes the two safest cars in the world as of 2007; the A4 and A6. You are more likely to walk away in a German car than any other car in the world. Crash test ratings prove this. So do the standard features, ASR, ESP, 6 standard airbags, rear optional airbags... some cars even have 12 I think. All in all, those Jeeps are dangerous. That is all I am saying.

Jul 7th 2007 6:21PM I am not the only one that thinks this way. Those batties can't be broken down when they are scrap and they only last about 100,000 miles before they need to be replace, sometimes less. It takes at least 7 years at the current gas prices to break even from the added costs of the technology. Do some research as I have, I know what I am talking about.
Sometimes I recycle... but then again, it takes more engergy to break down the recycle materials then it takes to make new ones. The technology just isn't there right now.

Jul 7th 2007 4:20PM Forget hybrids. Their batteries do more damage to the environment than does 10 Yukon XLs! I will follow my Fathers lead and get a car that we call hybrids, burns rubber & burns GAS!!! MMM! Our garage includes a V8 Touareg, 540i Sport, 2008 S6 FSI 5.2L V10 (on the way). I can be pleased to say that none of these cars gets over 15mpg! There is something about speed that gives you a pricelss smile... a smile that only can be established through extreme performance with an extreme thrist for 93 octane petrol! My future car (within a year) is rated at the number 10 worst gas consuming car in the world! Behold the W12 Pheaton! I laugh at hybrids! So does my family! Reward your smile and the economy with a great performing car!

Jul 7th 2007 4:10PM Have fun out there? More like, have fun collecting your loved ones life insurance, because they just got killed in one of the most unsafe vehicles in America. I am all German, my whole family is. We are German first and formost for SAFETY reasons! I know a lot of people that have died in Jeeps like the one pictured above. My brother actually knew 4 people that died in one. Such a dangerous car...

Jun 28th 2007 11:02AM Wow... that for a civic? I don't care how souped up it is. You can get a 2008 VW GTI with DSG for $23,000. It shifts in 8 milliseconds (the Enzo shifts in 150 milliseconds, FXX shits in 100 milliseconds). Has 200hp and 200lb ft of torque.
