Proposed CAFE rules hurt Porsche, small powerful vehicles {Autoblog}

Apr 28th 2008 7:08PM maybe Porsche is buying VW Shares because they are too proud to produce fuel efficient cars. If they merge with VW, they may be able to get away from CAFE rules without producing fuel efficient Porsche and just produce fuel efficient VWs.... Just my theory....

Feb 19th 2008 3:37AM Well.. Think about it guys Hyundai was a company that built cheap ass tin cans back in the 80s with 4 cylinder and minimal HP. Everyone bought it to replace their gas guzzling 70s cars but, no one enjoyed it. It became a ridicule for everyone. It was a best seller but Hyundai never really had to promote it at first. Later, they wanted to promote but HYUNDAI was still a company for ridicule. Now, they build respectable cars and they have great ambitions on it and they want to promote. To them, it is a shocker to everyone that Hyundai, the guys that was always ridiculed is building a large sedan with 380HP.
I think Hyundai deserve some credit for their effort. I will go test drive it and maybe I will replace my 12years old BMW 750il, since it is the same size.....

United offers up LCDs, in-flight entertainment servers on recent flight {Engadget}

Nov 23rd 2007 12:24AM enough of this bockering.. THere are only two manufacturers of Inflight Entertainment systems in the world. One is Panasonic, and the other is Thales. Panasonic among other places are based in Singapore, Thales is based in Irvine CA. So,there are all either one or the other. Not much difference. IF it is On demand they are new system Either Panasonic 3000i or EX2 and Thales 4000 5000 or 6000, if it is broadcasted, they are old Panasonic 2000i or Thales 3000. The contents are basically the same since they are all provided by the same company. It is up to airlines to choose which movie to show.... I bet United system is Panasonic 3000i or EX2. END OF STORY.

Korean Air bans Dell laptops, Apple PowerBooks and iBooks {Engadget}

Sep 8th 2006 5:01AM I think it is a fair decision. If a laptop blows up inside an airplane, especially since today's aircraft powersource uses low amphere and therefore powercord from the computer overloads, it can accelerate the process of blowing up the batteries.
Neverthless, it would be scary to see a laptop blow up inside a plane especially if I was using it. I have no room to escape the blast.

Hyundai chief springs from the slammer! {Autoblog}

Jul 3rd 2006 10:21PM This guy was a target of politics. His brother ran for president against the current president. His brother paid the price by going to jail for things done everyday by every company in Korea. Samsung Chairman does not go to jail evading billions of dollars of tax because he paid off the president with large bag full of cash.
