Jan 13th 2008 8:50PM A Toyota Corolla XRS with Subaru badges.
This is an excellent bargain, if Mitsu can keep the weight down. Even then, it'll be pretty damn nice. An excellently balanced car at a good price, just like the original WRX.

Dell's Latitude XT tablet now available {Engadget}
Dec 18th 2007 1:25PM Well, there is the capacitive touch thing, which will bring multitouch later on. However, thats not there initially, and its not worth the $1500 anyways, so yea.
I love how the base config, at $2500, comes with a 1GHz Core 2 Solo and a 40GB hard drive. Just for a decently specced machine, you are looking at over 3k....Considering that the competing Fujitsu T2010 goes for $1600 with those specs, and the HP2710p goes for $1900, it really does look as though Dell has priced itself out of the market on this one.
T-Mobile's BlackBerry Pearl 8120 gets dated, detailed {Engadget}
Dec 17th 2007 3:16PM I am so in for this, wow. WiFi in the Pearl makes it pretty much unbeatable, though the TMobile Shadow looks pretty decent too.
Spy Shot: Mercedes-Benz GLK caught on Sex and the City set {Autoblog}
Dec 16th 2007 7:40PM I don't think I would - for some reason, the GLK looks the best of all the CUVs I've seen thus far. The Acura RDX is pretty sleek and high tech looking, and the EX had some nice curves, but I mean, its an SUV, and you don't buy an SUV based on looks or handling. If you did, you'd buy the sedan version, like the TL, or G35, or 3 series. The GLK looks really butch, which I like.
And with the way new Mercedes Benz cars are going now, this is going to have excellent build quality and decent driving dynamics. Not going to be the best handling truck in the class though, with the SH-AWD system in the RDX and the Infinity EX, but it won't be bad.
Who else really wants to see the AMG 6.2L V8 in this thing? That would be SERIOUSLY awesome, and seriously quick to boot.

Spy Shots: Suzuki Swift sedan nabbed in India {Autoblog}
Dec 14th 2007 6:27PM Yea, that must be a preproduction car. The regular Swift hatchback is not nearly that bad....But yes, the rear end is hideous - this is a car that should have stayed a hatchback.
I guess they do need a saloon car to compete with the Honda City and Ford Ikon and Mitsu Lancer and such (Ok, I haven't been following the Indian car market that much recently, forgive my lack of knowledge of the latest trends there), but they could just make a lower end version of the SX4 sedan (which is already there) to go along with the higher end, Baleno replacing model thats on sale. Put in the 1.4 or 1.6L engine, take out the leather, put on steel wheels, it should be in the same price range as the City...And it isn't hideous like this is.
