GM to move Opel upmarket in Europe {Autoblog}

May 13th 2008 11:05AM who isn't attempting to move upmarket? why wouldn't you want to sell your cars at a higher price? chevrolet is a strong suggester of mainstream, and they don't hide it. meanwhile, hyundai's latest cars are their most expensive, volkswagen wants to sell vehicles a couple thousand dollars more than its own platform-mates. one way or another, these processes take years and years. remember audi of 1975?

Now hear this! There will be no M version of the BMW X5 {Autoblog}

Apr 11th 2008 2:50PM Seems that BMW is quite content to up-power the X5 and leave M for more fitting vehicles. Even the 7-series is M-less. Judging by recent performance stats for the 135i and M3 4-dr (http://goodcarbadcar.blogspot.com/2008/04/0-60-in-car-may.html), there's not much need for X5 buyers to spend $80K on an M-X5 when an X5 3.0i and a 135i would do the trick.

Pics & Details Aplenty: 2009 Volkswagen Passat CC {Autoblog}

Apr 9th 2008 10:57AM this car just doesn't have it. heavy-looking. a bit dull. chrome doth not make high-class. people pay extra for the CLS cuz it's hot. i'd buy the passat unless a discounted CC went below the asking price of the passat. actually, i'm not likely to buy the passat either.

Pontiac Solstice Coupe to pack 300 horses? {Autoblog}

Apr 3rd 2008 2:44PM Hopefully in addition to extra horsepower comes added refinement. Soltice's twin - the Sky(http://goodcarbadcar.blogspot.com/2007/10/saturn-sky-driven.html) - feels like its coming apart by the second set of railroad tracks. Sporting cars need refinement, not just horsepower. And at the price this gorgeous Solstice coupe will command, there are cars that possess some measure of perceived quality.

In The Autoblog Garage: 2008 Honda Accord Coupe {Autoblog}

Mar 31st 2008 12:44PM An Accord heavier than a Mustang? Accord V6 coupe EX-L is 37 pounds less than a Mustang GT deluxe. Although, a lighter car can often feel heavier - typically due to unsprung weight. As for Accord speed, Car&Driver tested it and found 0-60 in 5.6. (http://goodcarbadcar.blogspot.com/2008/03/0-60-in-motortrend-april.html) MotorTrend had it at 5.7 with the Altima one tenth behind.

Lamborghini ceases production of Gallardo Superleggera {Autoblog}

Mar 27th 2008 11:09AM i think it's more like, "The prince is dead, long live the prince." The Gallardo SL was awesome, but the 430 Scuderia has its number.

VIDEO: Porsche GT3 Cup Car vs. Cayman GTR... on 11th Ave. {Autoblog}

Mar 26th 2008 6:45PM The Cayman is so awesome. How much cooler can a Cayman look than doing doughnuts in NYC?

Not over yet: eBay buyer still trying to get M3 from BMW dealer {Autoblog}

Mar 26th 2008 11:59AM consider the WWW mobilized. (http://goodcarbadcar.blogspot.com/2008/03/put-down-your-rifle-bmw-of-lincoln-will.html) when did customer service die? i'm not sure it was alive during my lifetime.
