VIDEO: One cranky South Korean gets to drive the Hyundai Genesis {Autoblog}
Mar 13th 2008 7:07PM Good call. I noticed this too. The guy talks and talks but it seems like he just likes to complain. How does the rear like to kick out but at the same time, it feels like it has the same dynamics as a domestic FF sedan? Impossible, especially considering as mentioned that the (Korean) domestics are tuned exceptionally soft...there is no way they oversteer. And he goes on to complain about 1 piston brakes...and makes no mention of fade, poor performance, etc. Having only 1 piston is not an absolute measure of braking performance!
Ethiopia gets its first automaker {Autoblog}
Nov 10th 2007 2:12PM Yeah, that commercial is bad cuz someone is driving fast to see the birth of their first child. But when Audi teaches you how to drift-parallel park, or Lexus does donuts in their GS460, it's sick!
More crap from the people who love status quo, just like those who dissed the Japanese and Koreans years ago...

Keeping the Enclave on boil - GM keeps a lid on production {Autoblog}
Nov 1st 2007 1:09AM And this is because...why exactly? The Highlander Limited starts at $32700 and the Enclave starts at $32990. What'd I miss? People usually shop based on how much they have to spend no?

Oct 31st 2007 7:30PM No huh? Not Toyota or Mazda? Must be why the CX7/CX9 and the new Highlander are selling so well. It's OBVIOUS that everybody hates them judging from the many that I see on the road every day...wake up people

Oct 31st 2007 7:03PM And nobody thought in any of this that if a consumer couldn't get an Enclave, they'd just walk next door to the Toyota/Mazda/Infiniti dealer and get something else instead?
Audi releases new TFSI 1.8T for A5 {Autoblog}
Oct 13th 2007 11:47AM How often do you see people in the back of a coupe? Especially ones that aren't cheap (ie. aren't bought for teenagers who are determined to haul their tiny friends everywhere).

There could be 40K+ on those tires by now assuming 200 miles a day
If you notice, it's posted in Atlanta but he says he usually drove it from MIAMI to the West Coast. My guess is he moved and got a new job and drives local now, decides its time for a nicer/newer car.
Thailand gov't delivers crushing blow to Ferrari {Autoblog}
Sep 30th 2007 10:53PM A 300% tax does not even come close to explaining a 30-40million Baht price tag on a Ferrari from the 1990's. In neighboring Malaysia with similar taxes, a NEW Ferrari goes for under 30 million Baht equivalent, and I guarantee you they do not appreciate (from friends experience)
